as a SSM fan i got mix feelings bout this. one side dont want the fight b/c i feel he is to big for pac. the other wants it b/c pac got 2 kos at 140 & above.

Shane wouldn't be that bad below 147, but he didn't learn from his boss. At 38 years old, Mosley should be going up in weight, not down. Roy Jones Jr, going to Heavyweight, then coming back down to 175 already in his 30's, life an death with Tarver, KTFO by Tarver, Got decisioned by Tarver, KTFO by Glen Johnson. Chris Byrd, in his 30's, went down to Light Heavyweight, KTFO. Oscar De La Hoya 36 years old dropping down to weight class that's 2 divisions below his highest weight class, TKO'ed.

Shane, don't do it, you're not as light as Floyd who can make 143-144 without draining himself.


Props to Hopkins for trying to make smarter moves in his career by attempting to get a fight at Cruiserweight instead of doing like these other dummies going down to unhealthy weight classes.

Mosley is not the WW champ highspeed, he is the number contender while Cotto is number 2, If Cotto beats Clottey, he gets back to number , Mosley to number 2.

Thats how ranks work, and Cotto holds the W over Mosley too.
