Speed or Power

I think usually it does. But who hits harder, Malignaggi or Urango? Who hit harder, Foreman or Ali? Confusing as hell really.
I'd say speed, at least you'll be able to hit them, hopefully move out of the way with the same speed and be able to avoid those slow, powerful punches.Comment

Well, Larry. You weight 215 and throw a fast punch.... your going to generate power. lol
If you were 118(90% of these guys have little muscle) and threw a fast punch. Your not going to knock anyone out, unless they are of your size or smaller.Comment

Im a speedy guy anyways. My punch clocked in at .18 seconds.
Speed does NOT = Power.
Power = Mass x Velocity
You also have to factor in the size of your opponent. If Nonito Donaire threw that same hook he KO'd Darchinyan with, at Juan Diaz. Juan Diaz would have looked at him like he was ******.
Never be confused with Speed as power.Comment

Perfect example of Power = Mass x Velocity, is Mike Tyson. Big, stalky dude, incredibly fast for a HW... thus had crippling power.Comment

Yes I know what it is. The rate at which an object changes position.
In boxing: The rate at which my fist going from point A (my guard) to Point B (your chin).
Example:
A train traveling 90mph smashing into a house... house is no more.
A car traveling 90mph smashing into a house... house as a hole in it.
understand now?Comment

Neither.
As i get closer to my first pro fight, there is one thing I find out in the gym.
You can never have enough endurance. Your power or speed is nothing without endurance.
Give me a tank.. the others will last longer.Comment
