Cotto: "Clottey, We'll See Who Has More Heart"

I'm picking Cotto to win this fight because there's just something that rubs me the wrong way with Clottey. People on here bash Cotto for quitting but fail to mention that Clottey's corner had to convince him to come out for the next round in the Margarito fight after he supposedly hurt his hand. The thing that is getting on my nerves about the Cotto fans that post on here is they won't get off this subject about plaster. Do you think this is something that Cotto dwells on constantly? I don't have a lick of respect for Margarito but instead of crying about how Cotto got cheated, you need to look to the future. Everytime the Cotto fans keep dwelling on his loss to Margarito it tells me that they lack confidence in Cotto's ability to put the pieces of his career back together. Another thing, how much longer do you guys think Cotto is gonna be able to make 147? He seems able to make it comfortably but I don't see him beating Kirkland, Angulo, or Paul Williams. He also needs to rematch Shane Mosley as I've pointed out before.

Some fans dwell on it cause the real permenant damage will never be known. Only Cotto can say but will he?

both coto and clottey have hearts. when cotto started getting hit with the cast he made the right decision to quit. that is having heart. clottey feeling the affects from a broken hand questioned himself but went on to fight anyway. both fighters were whooppin ANFONIO MARGACHEATOS ASS. they both have heart folks.

I believe Cotto is a little hungrier for this one than Clottey is. If he was still undefeated, I wouldn't feel that way but after what happened to him vs. Margarito, he's got something to prove. He was winning most of the early rounds and then got beat by a guy with a cast. The loss cost him the chance to KO De La Hoya and probably a Mayweather fight right now. If I was Cotto, I'd be pretty pissed too. On a side note, who wants to see Clottey-Mosley? or Clottey-Berto? It's better for boxing if Cotto wins.

I agree with you man. Clottey's power & pressure made Zab
quit on purpose because he couldn't take it and knew he was
in over his head. Clottey never looked hurt in the fight &
almost dropped Zab in the 7th. The few punches Clottey
threw hurt Zab each time. I always said that this fight on
the 13th will be a test of who wants it more and will be a
slug fest.

Heart is important,but ability is more important,I’m sure Clottey will hit Cotto easily!but Cotto can’t hit Clottey easily,because his speed is not quick enough!

NO NO NO NO NO! To be a fighter you must have heart or be game , same thing. To be elite you must possess Gameness, ability which includes speed and punch, and the ability to take a punch.
