I think pressure was one of the reasons Cotto quit. Cotto is indeed
a good fighter but against someone that he can't hurt it gets tough
for him. Clottey's a strong durable guy. Cotto best bet would be
to stay on the outside, use his jab and box to win by decision.
Cotto has power but perhaps against bigger Welters it might not
be as devastating.

Are you really trying to deny that Clottey didn't hit Zab and cause
that cut? It wasn't a head butt, even Zab couldn't point it out on
the replay. Clottey ****** out with Margarito for 12 rounds and
took some hard shots and gave some. From reading Clottey's
statements I honestly think he doesn't respect Cotto or fear him
and will fight a lot more actively to get him out of there. Before
people start saying I'm crazy for not giving Cotto mega props, I
do think Cotto has a chance but just don't think he will win PLUS
I bet on Clottey so I'm going all out with my pick.

, Just saw clottey joggin the other day and I can tell he is ripped. He looks focus and I'm sure he will beat Cotto no matter what cotto brings. Cotto is overrated while Clottey is underrated because they haven't given him tthe chance to shine. But, the time is now and all the actual mediocre welter weight top contenders like moesley who avoided Clottey, cintron who also avoided clottey, Margarito who back off a rematch with clottey , are shaking because they will have to pass the best welter inthe division at the moment in order to make $$$. Which means they will have to get there ass kicked. Clottey is going to unificate the welter division no doubt about it. If it's a matter of hearts we all know who quits with marg and who fought till the 12 round even with a hand fracture.
