The Boxing equivalent to the UFC 100 card

I made a thread a while back where I made a boxing card that would be the equivalent to a UFC card just to give the ppl who don't know much about mma a perspective of just how impressive the UFC cards really are and why UFC is the fastest growing sport in the world.
Well since UFC 100 is coming up and this is probably one of the most impressive cards ever, I just thought it would make sense to do this thread again to remind ppl of why UFC is doing so well. so here goes...
UFC - Boxing
Lesnar-Mir = Wladimir Klitschko - Vitali Klitschko
GSP-Alves = Mikkael Kessler - Lucien Bute
Fitch-Thiago = Librado Andrade - Carl Froch
Henderson-Bisping = Bernard Hopkins - Zsolt Erdei
And the rest of the undercard is not all that bad either. there is a spectacular unbeaten prospect in Jon Jones who can almost be compared to a David Haye in boxing.
This is why UFC is doing so well and will continue to do so well. Boxing is the better sport, but the way the UFC is being run in such an organized fashion, I have to believe that the overtaking of boxing in the ppv numbers is only inevitable.
Boxing purses MOSTLY go to the main event fighters....
UFC fights are shorter.....
All the fighters fight under one roof......
I can go on and on.Comment

No offence but for a UFC 100??I made a thread a while back where I made a boxing card that would be the equivalent to a UFC card just to give the ppl who don't know much about mma a perspective of just how impressive the UFC cards really are and why UFC is the fastest growing sport in the world.

In the end it's all about money.
UFC vs. Boxing? The whole argument about which is better. On entertainment, ppv buys, which is more skilled...etc etc.
When I think about that argument I think about how fanboys love to square up Xbox v. PS3 v. Nintendo. Who cares? I have all of them haha.
As long as all the UFC fighters are contracted by one person there will never be fights like Ali-Fraziers,Leonard-Hearns,Hagler-Hearns or even the DLH-Mayweathers...You get the point.
Promoting hyping the fight is what makes sales so high and if UFC has scheduled PPV fights like idk once a month that doesnt help either.
On the matter of which is more exciting MMA or Boxing in the end that's all opinion anyways.
Personally, I liked UFC when there was no weight divisions or mitts haha. UFC 1 and 2 were awesome.Comment

im a fan of both mma and boxing. but UFC 100 does not interest me much. but i agree that boxing can make some adjustments to make the sport better. on the other hand, UFC needs more improvements to be able to "Take over" boxing. its still far from what boxing has done. i like the old school MMA better. Pride is the BOMB. i kinda lost interest in UFC to be honest. MMA needs more matches to know whos the best in the WORLD, not just UFC. thats what i love about boxing. anyone can fight anyone. **** popularity. watch whatever sport you like. you dont need to follow which is more popular.Comment

Hardcore boxing fans will always bring out salaries of top boxers for comparsion whenever there is a mention of MMA.
I love love sports, both have their share of boring and exciting matches. The thing is that MMA is much closer to a real fight, which will not look pretty and "sweet science like".
Boxing has been around for like a century, no doubt the money is bigger but money is not everything when comparing which is more popular.
Back to the thread......the point is that boxing PPVs should put more than just one match with superstars. PeaceComment

It's a good list except for the main event. NO WAY Mir and **** Lesnar are the two best dominant heavyweight in the world. It's more like Calvin Brock vs Chris Arreola.
Wladimir and Vitali are untouchable at this point and beat everybody, so it would be more:
Fedor Emelianenko vs Josh Barnett. It's gonna happen in Affliction III
The best one is "Henderson-Bisping = Bernard Hopkins - Zsolt Erdei" LMAO.Comment
