Dawson was careful of Tarver's power but he won't be of Calzaghe's so he'll counter Calzaghe without hesitation. Calzaghe would get ko'd for sure.

if manfredo can avoid calzaghe's punches...

imagine what Dawson would do. but instead of covering up, Dawson would throw back a counter punching combination that Calzaghe has never seen before. ko 3 for Dawson.

You're looking at a fighter getting hit by 30-40 shots without throwing a punch back.

If you do that in the UK you are going to get stopped not matter who your opponent is.

Call it a bad way of refereeing if you like (And I would agree) but every fighter knows that before they get in the ring.

if you have a problem with that you need to go and take it up with messers McClelland and Watson.

Best of luck with that conversation only make sure Chris Eubank isn't in the room.

Second dawson is no where near Calzaghe in terms of skills so i very much doubt he can match Cal.

I think Chad's opposition compared to Calzaghe at the respective time of their careers is a little bit better. But that doesn't mean that Calzaghe isn't the better fighter of the two. And I don't like either guy.

I agree, but the matter in which Chad beat those three guys is unimpressive when you stop to think about it. Even though Chad beat Adamek convincingly because of the early rounds of where he boxed his ears off, he suffered a little bit of Zab Judah syndrome toward the end of the fight after he got dropped in the 10th round I believe. Adamek won the rest of the rounds in that fight in my view and it makes me wonder if Chad might have went on to suffer his first defeat if it had been a 15 round fight. His next test against Johnson, he didn't pass with flying colors at all. I scored that fight 7-5 for Glen with the 10th round being a 10-8 round. Now Chad did beat Tarver both times decisively. But Tarver had already been beaten in a lot more devastating fashion by Bernard Hopkins than Tarver's both fights with Chad combined.
