Vitali would think when Louis entered the ring "well there is my opponents small child, where is my opponent though?"

he gave up against Byrd. all he had to do was stay away. Fighters have gone into the ring with far worse injuries than a hurt shoulder. I understand he was in pain, and i take his word for it, but it's boxing. There are fighters out there who would die before giving up. Die, literally.

i've been writing about it already. You haveto understand that injury.. your body doesnt stay clsoe to teh crowd.. or yuor reputation. If you ahve to quit - better quit. I give up many times in my career with broken bones or about to brake. and next day continue on tournament and winning my price. So does Vit when he gave up to Maskaev in Military tournament, but next week were final bouts and he took 1st place. So he gave up agaisnt Byrd.. but some ****** still take it as an loss.. just imagine what would be to Byrd if ***** Wlad beats him easily.. Vitali would KO him if tehre would be re-match. Sorry I have some mistakes.. English is my 3rd language

To be fair, I think Vitali learned his lesson in the Byrd fight, which is probably why he continued to fight Lennox with half his face hanging off. Plus in the Byrd fight, he had only been a pro for 3 1/2 years. Again, surely this is a prime for prime matchup.

it's fine man, im just saying that Vitali has shown that his will can be broken, be it due to pain or any other factor. Anybody can quit sure, it's the easiest thing to do in the world. And of course anybody can come back after quiting with better results, but that comeback will never erase that single memory.

We've seen it before, Harry Greb fought with one eye the second half of his career. Henry armstrong was swallowing his own blood when he won the welterweight crown. Frazier went to fight Ali in Manilla with one eye. Jeff Lacy tore his shoulder apart in Tsypko fight and now carries a scar. Holyfield didnt stop fighting Toney with a bad shoulder until his corner stopped him.

there are many many other examples. Vitali is a balsy guy, and he's tough, but he's also shown that at any given moment he may give it all up for the sake of not being in an unwanted situation where he's pressured into doing more than just dominating his opponents with his ability and physical talents. In boxing it's not just being a strong guy.

God man. Louis fought at over 200 pounds in the majority of his fights.

The way you are carrying on anyone would think he was a natural welterweight.

                  How big was Holyfield?

He has some heavy MF hands.
