Hakkar for 1.25 instead of Calzaghe for 3 mill. But somehow Joe was ducking Bernard.

After all is said and done, if anyone had beaten Calzaghe it would have been possibly the biggest achievement on their resume. So why is Calzaghe called "fraud" who "can't fight" and "slaps like a girl"? Beating Calzaghe would have been such a huge deal. You all know this is true!

If Hopkins had beaten him, people on here would never stop going on about it for the next 20 years. Same goes for Roy. Does that sound like a worthless, slapping fraud to you? Joe Calzaghe was a wicked FIGHTER. I don't care if you dont like how he fights, it's irrelevant, but the guy knew how to win and his style was very effective for him. Me? I love Joe's style. I guess this is kinda like a Marmite situation, though.

People need to realize that Dawson is only 26 years old, not even in his prime yet. Even when he gets a hold of fighters like Froch, Kessler, Taylor, Bute ect, he will still get criticized and its funny because its by the same people who praise Calzaghe. Dawson's resume right now threatens Joe's, and this is coming from a big fan of both fighters.

Bhop was just a top 4 p4p fighter coming off a dominating win over the man at LHW and a top p4p fighter in Winky Wright. Bhop, who just dominated the man at MW. Please don't compare that Bhop to the current versions of Johnson and especially Tarver. Roy I'll give you, but then Joe made more in that fight than Dawson's made in his whole career.

That's completely ridiculous, he looked like that because Dawson MADE him look like that. Adamek was arguably the best light heavyweight in the world at the time he lost to Dawson, and the reason why he hasn't lost at cruiser weight is because cruiser weights does not have the hand speed of a light heavyweight such as Dawson, or the skill level. Even before the Dawson fight when Adamek was in his dressing room, he stated that his size would be a factor and that he felt better than ever. Don't let anyone fool you.

Why did he have a shot at Roy Jones' title? Or Julian Jackson's title? Or Ottke's title? He was a mandatory. In any case, he didn't fight Calzaghe, because he suffered a back injury and retired. And that was at the time that Calzaghe was trying to make fights with both Hopkins and Jones.

I actually agree with Jim Jeffries on this one, I always thought Adamek wasn't at his best.

Same old story, though... fighter struggles to make weight, fighter loses, fighter moves up. Same thing happened with Pacquiao when he got KO'd as a Flyweight, forcing him to move up (by three divisions).

HOWEVER... it is a nice win for Chad, I can't take nothing away from it because when that contract is signed you're effectively saying "I can make the weight". Can't do it any more? Well, that's just bad luck.
