Even though wrestling isn't a real combat situation, it is very demanding and some of those people are in tremendous physical condition and very strong and explosive. Most of them probably wouldn't do that well in the UFC, but Lesnar is a beast as well as having a real wrestling backround, so it's really not that surprising he's done well if you think about it.

I don't care what type of amateur boxing experience a WWE wrestler has, he would get spanked if he tried something like that; especially with that amount of fights.
Tyson and Holyfield have participated in WWE matches so I will have to say yes.

and before you say "but...but they were boxers before they were in WWE". yeah well Lesnar was an NCAA National wrestling champion before he joined the WWE so its the same thing.

Brock Lesnar is a freak athlete. I wouldn't discredit MMA so quickly, there are many skilled fighters such as Silva,Fedor,Machida,GSP who are quite a treat to watch.

Not master it but at least getting rid of the major flaws traditional wrestlers have when transitioning to MMA (fear of striking and being on the bottom, letting limbs stray, etc.) as well as his cardio. He's also constantly working on defense.

I would not advise an amatuer boxer after 2 years to fight even a gatekeeper in boxing.

in mma u can become HW champ after 2 years of studying mma.

with the funny ear muff head gears

All he had to do in ufc was learn how to punch.
