  • Do You Think A WWE Wrestler...

could ever become champ like in the UFShe? Because I don't. That's an embarrassment to their sport that Lesnar can go over their and dominate the top trialhorse and the former current champ/Hall of Famer with less than 5 fights.

I don't care what type of amateur boxing experience a WWE wrestler has, he would get spanked if he tried something like that; especially with that amount of fights.

I'm glad to see you say that, I thought coming into this thread you might say that wrestlers should be boxers cause they could be the champions. Its just like when people say football players should be boxers cause they could dominate, and us boxnig fans have to tell them that just cause they are big does not mean they can fight. I would say no wrestler could ever be champion.

          Your ******.

Lesnar won the 2000 NCAA wrestling championship as a heavyweight after placing second in 1999. Lesnar finished his amateur career as a two-time NJCAA All-American, 1998 NJCAA Heavyweight Champion, two-time NCAA All-American, two-time Big Ten Conference Champion, and the 2000 NCAA heavyweight champion. Amassed a record of 106-5 overall in four years of college.

That is fuckin incredible, i dont care where he comes from. To do that in D1 wrestling, is fucking incredible.

Then you add on his size. 6 foot 3 inches, 265lbs, with an 81 inch reach. Wears 4xl gloves. The man is a beast. No wonder he beat Couture and won the title. Thats why he made it to the top of the UFC.

Dont try to make it seem like some okie doke WWE entertainer went into MMA and killed everyone.

So. There's a WWE wrestler called Elijah that won a couple Golden Gloves, he would get smashed if he ever tried to do something similar. The heavyweight division is horrible and there's still at least 20 boxers that would put the beats on him, let alone the Klitschko's.

Amateur wrestling skills play a certain role in the Professional Wrestling world, and Brock Lesnar is a decorated Amateur wrestler.

It just so happens that wrestling also plays a big role in the world of MMA, and Lesnar, being the amazing wrestler he is (I'm talking real, college/olympic wrestling skills, not tornado powerbombs or whatever), was able to parlay his wrestling skills into success in the UFC.

Someone told me not long ago about some young professional wrestler in the WWE, named "Elijah Burke" who was actually an amateur boxer with a record of 101-1 or something.

              But his record is unsubstantiated.

Personally, I think any guy in the WWE would get ass killed in a real combat sport.

And your an ignorant prick. I didn't make it seem like ****, I said "I don't care what type of amateur experience a WWE Wrestler has". If Rigondeaux or a heavyweight with his credentials came out of amateur boxing and became a WWE wrestler for 5 years and tried to fight for the heavyweight champion he would get smashed; especially if he tried it in less than 5 freaking fights.

To answer your question though. Hypothetically, yes, a WWE wrestler can become a boxing champion. To say an professionally athletic individual cant become a boxing champion, is dumb. You might as well say everyone at your boxing gym has no chance in becoming a champion. Just depends on how dedicated they are to it. In less than 5 fights, no.

MMA has wrestling as a huge part of success. Hence why the freak of nature, Brock Lesnar can out-wrestle just about any MMA fighter.

Also, there is a WWE wrestler that was once a Boxing champion. Floyd Mayweather Jr.

BTW, it's interesting to note that so many professional wrestlers are active boxing fans/MMA fans. I see them all the time at events, and they've even walked fighters to the ring on occasion. (3 or 4 of them walked Pacquiao to the ring.)
