That's a damn good match-up. Hope both camps can come to terms. Seems like Campbell has been shafted since he dethroned "Hype job" Diaz

I don't think there's any doubt that Campbell tried to make weight. The reality is that he is a fighter whose market value is dependent on having these belts and being able to defend them. Now, moving up to 140, Campbell is once again just another tough guy who may have problems getting the marquee names to face him. While he may have been forced to move up in weight, his money goes down for the foreseeable future. But regardless, isn't it a bit ironic that Campbell failed to make weight in the very next fight post-Joan Guzman? What do they say about glass houses?

Soupy, I'm telling you this as someone who is concern for your health.....RETIRE!!!!!....Ortiz, Holt, Bradley, Peterson, Arnatous, Alexander, Alvarado, Urango, Torres, Kotenik those boys will hurt you and hurt you badly.

Soupy, do you really think that you can beat those boys by throwing one "an overhand right" per round and then gassing out mid-fight? they will eat you alive. I left Hatton and Pacquiao off the list because they have better things to do then to fight you. If for some crazy reason (they will never fight you because you are beltless & bankrupt and bring nothing to the table) those two do fight you.... they will dismember you and scatter your ashes on the front lawn of their houses in their respective countries.

Funeka was having his way...outbox you from a distance. Of course he was your toughest fight, because he beat you that why. I remember watching the six round where you couldn't even breathe and instead of switching up your tactics.....you kept trying that same overhand right? Why do you even pay Jackson for? he licks nuts as a trainer.

Funeka chin is made of porcelain or he would have beat you soundly, but I don't have nothing to worry about....the 140 lber (aka the under 30 years of age boys) will show you your exit and then and only then will you hang up your gloves and then try to figure out why you will never be in the boxing hall of fame.

So now what Soupy, more press releases, more blog...well since you are doing this, first start off by apologizing to Joan Guzman and then say you lost against Funeka....and finally admit that without belts, you bring nothing to the table and at 140....you will be a journeymen.

140 is not for the weak-welled person like you Soupy....get a new conditioning coach, learn some damn discipline and get your a$$ back down to 135 before you get hurt.

Jesus H. Christ, I'm begging Soupy, please don't go to 140.....those boys don't hit like Peden......they will knock your head in

      Damn u a cold blooded b*tch.

I love how the WBO **** on Guzman and gave Campell this chance. Campell-Bradley will be a way more exciting fight anyway. Guzman is unreliable as hell when it comes to pulling out of fights and I don't like his herky-jerky pitty pat style.

              joan guzman,

              psst, please.

The guy has no fan base, no boxing resume, no belts, no boxing stature whatsoever. He has the personality of a pitbull & the fighting style of a annoying chihauhua.

His best win is humberto soto. he needs to step his game up. All he has is talent with the percieved notion of being able to trouble the top guy. Why would any big name fighter want to fight him.

I don't see where anyone is shafting Nate...I'm sure the Galaxxy Warrior would be the first to say that he's not in the best position he COULD be 'cuz he failed to make weight - plain and simple. Had Nate made the 135 limit in his last fight, the landscape would probably be better for him right about now. That being said, give the guy a year, and he will be THE MAN @ 140.

He ain't going to be ****....he's 38 and was blown up by the 6th round against Funeka.....he said that he would beat Pacquiao.

Do you think that Soupy can beat De La Hoya and Hatton.....HELL NO!!!

Peden knocked this journeymen out, he will never be the HOF.

So why does Soupy and Star Trek think that he's some kind of hot commodity? Soupy should finish filing for chapter 11 and then return to his previous job at the grocery store where he can bag my milk and butter my biscuits.

Tell me about it. And I was actually being serious instead of sarcastic about the first part of my post so don't misinterpret it. Campell is a real fighter. Guzman is a non factor because he doesn't go out of his way to please the crowd. Hell, I'd rather see Humberto Soto get a big fight any day than that boring cat. Soto landed the harder punches on his ass even though he was outslicked. The decision was fair but after what Guzman pulled in the last rounds I don't care to see this guy fight on TV again.
