Because if you do land that Bradley fight (and God I hope so) then we could be talking about Nate being the linear champion finally.

Its not the sanctioning bodies, because Pac only holds the Ring title, which never requires the "champ" to do a mandatory defense.

But even if Manny vacated the Ring "title", it would stay vacant because Ring rules only allow it to be filled by #1 fighting #2 (or sometimes #3). Assuming Nate beat Bradley, he couldnt win the title because Ring does not have Nate in their top 10 at 140. And Nate's first defense would have to be against Interim Champ Lamont Peterson, who also is not ranked in Rings top 10 at 140. So even if Nate beat Bradley AND Peterson, he still couldnt get the Ring title at 140. lol. (and people say the sanctioning bodies are ****ed up....lolol) Ring top 5 is 1. Bradley, 2. Hatton, 3. Witter, 4. Kotelnik, and 5. Malignaggi.

What about if Witter beat alexander, And the Bradley/Campbell winner beats him??? Or if Bradley wins and faces Witter that surely have to be for the Ring title..

That would solely depend on where they rank Nate after the bradley win, and what happens with Hatton at #2.

Winner of this fight should face the winner of Witter/Alexander. Would be like a mini 140 tournament.

If Bradley-Campbell gets made, the winner will have to fight Interim Champ Lamont Peterson next. (unless of course Peterson takes a pass)

Bradley has shown vulnerability in his chin thru uppercuts. Nate needs to work on throwing a variety of punches in order to beat Bradley. He will not be able to outwork him if Bradley doesn't fear his power.

Soupy is trash.....stay at 135 where it's safe for you!!!

I'm going to post a quote that a well-known boxing scribe said about Soupy today......This quote pretty much describes Soupy whole career now and forever.

I don't think there's any doubt that Campbell tried to make weight. The reality is that he is a fighter whose market value is dependent on having these belts and being able to defend them. Now, moving up to 140, Campbell is once again just another tough guy who may have problems getting the marquee names to face him. While he may have been forced to move up in weight, his money goes down for the foreseeable future. But regardless, isn't it a bit ironic that Campbell failed to make weight in the very next fight post-Joan Guzman? What do they say about glass houses?

Soupy, I'm telling you this as someone who is concern for your health.....RETIRE!!!!!....Ortiz, Holt, Bradley, Peterson, Arnatous, Alexander, Alvarado, Urango, Torres, Kotenik those boys will hurt you and hurt you badly.

Soupy, do you really think that you can beat those boys by throwing one "an overhand right" per round and then gassing out mid-fight? they will eat you alive. I left Hatton and Pacquiao off the list because they have better things to do then to fight you. If for some crazy reason (they will never fight you because you are beltless & bankrupt and bring nothing to the table) those two do fight you.... they will dismember you and scatter your ashes on the front lawn of their houses in their respective countries.

Funeka was having his way...outbox you from a distance. Of course he was your toughest fight, because he beat you that why. I remember watching the six round where you couldn't even breathe and instead of switching up your tactics.....you kept trying that same overhand right? Why do you even pay Jackson for? he licks nuts as a trainer.

Funeka chin is made of porcelain or he would have beat you soundly, but I don't have nothing to worry about....the 140 lber (aka the under 30 years of age boys) will show you your exit and then and only then will you hang up your gloves and then try to figure out why you will never be in the boxing hall of fame.

So now what Soupy, more press releases, more blog...well since you are doing this, first start off by apologizing to Joan Guzman and then say you lost against Funeka....and finally admit that without belts, you bring nothing to the table and at 140....you will be a journeymen.

140 is not for the weak-welled person like you Soupy....get a new conditioning coach, learn some damn discipline and get your a$$ back down to 135 before you get hurt.

Jesus H. Christ, I'm begging Soupy, please don't go to 140.....those boys don't hit like Peden......they will knock your head in

Bradley-Campbell is almost made for aug 1st on Showtime.

Put your money where your big mouth is. I'll bet $10,000 (real money, not internet points) heads up on Nate. (I'll bet more than that if I get the Vegas odds)

Money up front held in a 3rd party escrow till after the fight.

If you're game, then put up. Otherwise just go back to being a keyboard badass and running your mouth.
