    Forrest hurt Mosley cause: Head-clash, punch... {video}

    This is the only fight I remember Shane being seriously hurt. When I first saw it live, I thought Mosley's legs looked a bit unsteady after the head clash...and moments later, Shane gets nailed with a big right-hand. I've always thought it was the head-clash first that hurt Mosley so the punches that followed were going to be enough to put him down at this point. Basically, the head-clash softened him up to go down.

    From what I remember, Mosley later explained that the head-clash knocked his equilibrium off...which I think he said a Doctor discussed with him.

    So, what do you see and do you think the head-clash was the start of the reason why Shane was put down or do you think it was an excuse and the punch was the only cause of Shane going down.

    Not enough EPO in his system to beat a Top American fighter.

      He beat the **** out of Mosley in that first fight...

      The headbutt started things though..
      Had shane tripping and most likely feeling the effect from Vernons big old ****** head

      I remember shane shouting out in pain as well from that painful bodyshot..

      Forrest handed him a beating that night

        The bodyshot that had Shane hollerin didn't have **** to do with a headbut.

        Vernon's head was involved too.

          The headbutt came early though..

          Way before the bodyshot.Shane was dun by then..

          The shorts played a factor as well i reckon..

            Naw, any damage that headbutt might of done, enough time passed for shane to recover. He seemed fine untill he got clocked clean.

                Vernon drilled him wit the right. Headbutt wasn't the big factor.

                    That's the only fight he's really been hurt in.
