what alot of people dont know is that Floyd is not really an *******. thats the way he promotes fights, thats what makes him so much money, being the villian. outside the ring away from boxing he a normal guyLast edited by Shadow boxer 3; 05-26-2009, 05:50 PM.Comment

if he was a humble as pac he would be the next ALI... but everybody who doesn't like the brash mouthed "money" may everyone wants to be the first one to say I told you so when he loses... all in all tho he is a superstar in boxing.Comment

Noone's attacking floyd's real personality. He does stop and sign autographs and takes pictures with kids. That's not the demeanor of an ******* at all. What people scutinize is his political approach to his career....
smearing other fighters and propagating irrelevant fights.
overpromising wars and big emphatic knockouts...and underdelivering with decision victories.
That's where the hate stems from. The man's a fighter, not a politician. so he should start acting like a fighter.Comment

I wrote this in another thread but I think it kinda fits here.......
Funny thing is Floyd being the good guy would equal Shane Mosley popularity wise. Shane is one of my favorite fighters but you have to admit he never got fame and never was the type of draw he deserves to be. He should be a way bigger attraction in the sport. The fact that Margarito could demand the lion share from Mosley after his first Pay per view pissed me off major. For that reason I could care less about how Floyd or anybody else markets themselves as long as its effective.Comment

Even though they both weight the same on fight night, it still would be his 8th weight class if he fought there...Comment
