50/50 for me.
remember.....even if pac loses to cotto , pac-pbf can still happen at 140.
if both pac and pbf loses pac-pbf will happen for sure.
i just think tr will prefer cotto-pac first. gbp will want mosley-pbf for the same reasons.Comment

Thats very risky there though
especially seeing as how arum and gbp has a goldmine in Floyd - Pac they can cash in this fall
why risk the biggest money fight in the sportComment

I will tell you what I don't want to be punch drunk and broke thatis for sure my man. JMM gets mucho respecto from me amigo. No doubt muy bien good for him. he is a great true warriro but fighting Chris John for 30k when he could have made 15 times that because he thought he deserved more money was a dumb move. I don't know how you could defend that. he probably lost money on that after he paid taxes paid his corner men and training expenses and on top of that he lost the fight. Well he got the loss anyways.....JMM has proved himself and he doesnt have to fight anyone named Chris John for 30K to gain my respect. I place him very high atop my list of fighters. I mean just look at my bets my man and you will see just how good I think he is. Or how much I like the odds you judge it for yourself. B Hop made his money in his 20+ title deffense his fights with Trinidad and ODLH he has a promotional company that arguably runs boxing along with HBO. B Hop picked the best of the best because he saw something and his style of fighting allows him to get in there with anyone and not get hurt. i mean if you look at most of his fights he is usually the bigger man no.Using JMM as an example isn't the greatest idea for the fact that we are nearing the end of JMM's career and he is taking on challenge after challenge.
Marquez also declined a fight with Pacquiao because of his lack of humility. He felt he deserved way more money for the rematch and as a matter of his own principle (and pride) he chose a significantly lesser purse with a dangerous fighter. That, to me, alludes to the idea "its not about money, its about respect" which favors my position a little more.
In the end, it all comes down to who you want to be. You want to be a business man? Or do you want to be a legend?
It isn't like you can't be both either. Marquez is doing it. Bhop did it. Why can't others?
I love B hop and I wouldn' take anything away from his glory aqnd legacy I think he is a ATG Top 5 MW but you can't use him as an example you just can't he is a very smart business man and would never pass up 1million to fight for 30k in some 3rd world country in front of home town judges against a fighter that no one in the staes has ever heard of period....LeftyComment

I never said that was the right thing to do. I think it was a ****** business and career decision. He let his pride get in the way and it pretty much delayed his career for years.Comment

If Pac losses to Cotto PBF will not go as low as 140 to fight him. I truly don't think PBF can make 140 anymore. And after watching PAC destroy ODLH at 147 I do no tknow how much of a disadvantage PAC is at 147.....If PAC fights Cotto at a catch weight of 143-145 to me it is ****** they should just fight at 147 and make it for titles. This whole fighting at a catch weight just tells you how valued the ABC belts are anyways....Really fellas all this catch weight ish is terrible and the fact that being Champion doesn't mean anything either it is all about $$$$ face it.....LeftyComment
