It sad but if I was him I would be pissed off if it worked my ass to get a title shot and then wait for long time and I could never get it.

People are doing the same with Mayweather. They *****, cry and complane about him fighting "SMALLER" guys yet they want him to fight Pac...... we wont hear the bitching until after the fact.... Once Pac is beat, then we will hear about SIZE.

Dawson's in the same boat. If he fights the younger guys because all the "good" vet fighters are "old" he will didging Johnson and Hop. If he calls out Hop and or fights Johnson he's dodging all the younger almost prime bla bla fighters....

It's a no-brainer for me. Dawson/ Johnson II and Cloud/ Woods. It's good for everybody. Dawson gets a chance to silence the doubters. Johnson gets another big fight which he very much deserves. Cloud gets his title shot, and against a weaker opponent than Dawson. He should have no problem with that! And Woods gets one more shot. Sounds good to me.

The only drawback is that Dawson loses his trinket, but he can always fight the winner of Cloud-Woods if he beats Johnson, or possibly look for a fight with Diaconu or Garay (it's unlikely Erdei would ever fight him, as we all know.) It's too bad that Hopkins won't fight him or retire. If they fought, it would be for the Ring Magazine belt. Or if he retired, Dawson-Johnson II would be for the Ring belt. If Dawson had that, he wouldn't need the other belts.
