He has been making noise with his fists..where the **** have you been?

Haha, Nate really hates Guzman, he came on my radio show before and went off on him saying al KINDS of madness about it. He really takes that personal, and so would I if I had been screwed out of $400,000.

Now, as you can see by my avy, I wish that fight happened cause I was rooting for Guzman, but I'm a big, BIG Nate fan as well.

Yeah but few and far between. 2 fights in 2 years does not = a lot of ass kicking. He is no Floyd and he does not have 1/20th of Floyd's fanbase so he will get forgotten about quickly.

You can blame Don King. Why blame Don King though? Everyone should know by now that if you cross paths with him you will get screwed over.

I like Nate but his 2 KO lost against Peden which is not a highly regarded fighter derailed his career for a period of time. His job is to keep fighting top contenders and force more title shots. He is in the right path and performances like the one against Funeka will help his cause. I give him a chance against any top fighter around his weight but he is high risk and low reward type of fighter.

Nah, as much as I'd love to see Nate get a Pac fight, its just not realistic, for the exact reasons Nate pointed out.......

But the problem is weird and some delima.

For a fighter with little amateur record and is the fought many people to become the contender in the sanction belt then just because of boxing politics and fans base he doesnt have he doesnt get a shot against the Champ.

But on the other hand it good to see Nate trying to publicity abit. In boxing as a business you fight with you mouth also. To get more money out of the fight.

I bet many fighter if they are silent they would have a shot to fame or high buck money fights

No boxing fights are for sure, anything can happen but that's my opinion and I'm sticking to it.

I hope Campbell gets a big money fight though, he deserves it after all these years of hard work.

depends on your perspective. For some folks, it's "the squeaky wheel gets the grease", but for others it's "the empty can rattles the most".

It's just all about your own perspective..............

Nate Campbell sounds like a MORON. Give me these supposed 'great BLACK fighters' that Manny avoided coming up. THERE WERE NONE,and yes that includes 39 year old Nate (ko'd on espn BY A JOURNEYMAN)CAMPBELL. As far as Floyd fighting Oscar and Ricky, tell me Nate, how many fights has Floyd had at 140 and 147? how many has Manny had? I believe Manny started fighting at 106 lbs, FLOYD at 130,You see how foolish you sound. Floyd WOULDN'T fight Ricky at his best weight with 8 oz gloves then it takes him 10 rounds to handle Hatton. He barely beat Oscar and the defensive genius known as "MONEYLESS"MAY got hit quite a few times. Manny barely got touched and had Oscar QUIT on his stool. He almost took ricky out in 1 but got rid of him in 2, at RICKYS BEST WEIGHT. Its how they got those wins ,its how hard those fights were for Floyd as oppose to how EASY they were for Manny. One more thing Nate, "YOU RUINED JUAN"? cmon man, without that cut ,which should have stopped ANY fight,AND you USING your head ALL FIGHT I don't see you winning.

I give you a good example in boxing. Mayweather when he started with his own bad boy image and trash talk he made more money.

or another example in real life. The person who shows his quality in his workplace usally earns position more then a person who is quiet and just do his job.

For us boxing is just a sport for Nate it is his job and what feeds him. At the end of the day fans wont remeber a fight all the time just little glimpse of his former glory from time to time but nothing really special. There are many former champ that work as low end job or been paralyse ( G-Man) and people dont remember them pretty well.
