Mayweather has never Box in the Meca of Boxing

The dude has never had a fight in the meca of boxing NY city and in the most famous arena in the world Madison Square Garden. The place where the boxing legends made their name and became icons in the USA.

I can understand Manny Pacquiao not boxing there because he is from the Philipines and you don't see a lot of Philipines in NY but Mayweather is American and he claims to be the biggest "Draw" in boxing. So why the 0 fights in NY? Is easy to sell fights in las vegas because of the betting but in NY you better be a big time fighter and give the fans their money's worth....Floyd can't do that.

So stop calling Floyd great until he proves himself in the the Meca of boxing and starts fighting the best.

Floyd is hated in New York. You don't come out to New York with that fake East Coast swag and expect people to like you, they know a con when they see one. Floyd couldn't fill a small night club with his running and pop shots in the ring. People want to be entertained in New York, not bored to death. The only reason Floyd is an attraction in Vegas is because of the same reason that you can put a bunch of turtles to fight in vegas and people will still come to watch.
