saying vegas is the mecca of boxing becuase that's where the money is is ******.what makes msg the mecca is the fight of the century, joe louis, ray robinson, duran's comback, the middleweight unification in 2001.vegas is great, but come on.msg isn't the world's greatest arena for no reason.it's the world's greatest stage, in the media capital of the world.everybody is watching you.

boxings a business just like any other sport, so of course when fights are made demographics play an important factor.

If Floyd-Cotto fought, it would make sense to do it in MSG cuz Cotto has a large following... or in Vegas because it ups the ******** which makes more money...... at the end of the day thats what its about.
