Guys like Mayweather, Jr., Guzman, Ray Robinson, Sugar ray Leonard, Campbell, Roy Jones, Bernard Hopkins, Pernell Whitaker, Evander Holyfield, Lennox Lewis, Meldrick Taylor, Muhammad Ali, were not exciting fighters huh?? But guys that got hit like Margarito, Jerry Quarry, Scott LeDoux, Gerry Penalosa, LaMotta, Marciano, Gatti are exciting fighters. Boxing is like music. Either you have rhythm are you don't. There are a lot of Puerto Rican fighters that have rhythm. Ivan Calderon, master boxer, Boxing is an art form. You guys sound just like the kid that don't like it because he can't play with the bigger kids so he wants to take his ball and leave. No matter how you look at it and this is not about race but White trainers train differently then black, mexican, puerto rican, cuban, etc. They all look at boxing differently

Generally speaking...that's the number one reason why Mr boat buyer gets hate. For chasing money fights instead of "legacy" fights.

I think the Hatton fight did improve MP legacy. Unlike Floyd he fought Rick at his best weight, and Manny, unlike Floyd is smaller then Hatton. It also got Him another Lineal title.

As for the DLH fight they were both the smaller guys in the fight and Floyd fought him at LMW to become a 6 division champ so even if it was boring i think people should give him a little cred of it even if i would have given him more to fight cotto or mosley. As for the Pac-DLH fight manny had to move up 2 weight classes to fight a guy that was 5 in taller then him. So even if DLH was weight drained pac was still the midget in the fight so i think a little cred should be given.

I think that the boxing demographic in weight classes is different now.

Hispanics dominate the lower classes.
Blacks dominate the middle classes.
