mexicans vs. pacquiao was an angle they could sell to the american public where mexican-americans make a huge and important portion of the boxing audience in america.

This should have been titled:
Has African-American avoided fighting Pacquiao?
Hahahaha!
Where are those Afro-American boxers?
Are they as top-notched as the Mexican fighters on that weight class, 122lbs-140lbs?
Even at a higher weight class, there's no pure american fighters that are good or exciting to watch... they need to make a story-line just to sell the fights, which is fine.
But, fight fans aint dumb to buy all those craps...
There's one Afro-American fighter that came out of retirement, coz he needs to pay his bill and he's fighting an old Mexican, who just beat an old Cuban... hahaha!
This article is purely RACIST...
Americans are racist against, Mexican, Asians, Latins, Jamaicans, etc...
European are racist against Americans and the rest of the world, thats how gay operates, that's their defense mechanism to camouflage their gayness...

ring magazine ratings at 122 in 2002 (manny's last year at 122) 4 of the top 5 fighters were mexican.
ring magazine ratings at 126 in 2003 (the year manny became champ at 126) 4 of the top 5 fighters were mexican.
ring magazine ratings at 130 in 2005 (when manny jumped to 130) the top 2 fighters were mexican and by 2007 you can add marquez and soto to the top 5.
