Cunningham can't fight him unless he has a win.

The IBF since last year have had a ruling that a fighter cannot be coming off a loss and fight for one of its world titles.

They decided on a final eliminator between Cunningham and Braithwaite back in February, to set up the rematch with Adamek if Cunningham wins. But for some reason this fight hasn't been scheduled yet.

Gunn isn't worse than **** like daggum said, but he is just a journeyman.

I wish daggum's friends over at Showtime will reconsider, and let us have Johnson-Adamek or at least Godfrey-Adamek.

The IBF should show some balls and not sanction this as a title fight. The WBO had no business allowing Enzo Mac to count fighting Gunn as a title defense two years ago. For a quality fighter like Adamek to fight a bum like Gunn (ranked 128th by boxrec) and call it a title defense is embarrassing, no matter what the reason is. This should be a 10-round non-title fight. Hell, it could be a 3-round non-title fight because it's probably not going to go more than a round or two

Here's Graham Houston from ESPN previewing Enzo Mac vs Bobby Gunn from two years ago, from his fightwriter website:

"If ever a fight has “early night” written all over it is Enzo Maccarinelli’s scheduled 12-rounder with the little-known Bobby Gunn on the Calzaghe-Manfredo show.

Maccarinelli, who defends his WBO cruiserweight title, is a big, strong, heavy-handed fighter who at 6ft 4ins will tower over the stocky Gunn, a walk-in slugger who at the age of 33 somehow finds himself part of a major event...

...He has one chance only against the bigger, far superior Maccarinelli, which is to come out throwing haymakers and hope to land one. I suppose there is an extremely remote chance that he could get lucky...

...but I expect the finish to come inside three rounds."

Houston was right, of course, but when he previews Adamek vs Gunn he should save time and just print this again, 'cos it'll be a repeat.
