All you ever do is bash European fighters - you hate every single one.
Adamek agreed to fight Hopkins, but he was made a humiliating offer, because Hopkins didn't really want the fight. Adamek sought a fight with Johnson, a better fight for the fans, but the Euro-haters like daggum at HBO and Showtime didn't want to show it. Then, Adamek tried to settle for a good young cruiserweight Godfrey as an opponent for less money on another ShoBox appearance. The Euro-haters like daggum turned that down, even though the boxing fans liked Adamek's last appearance against Banks.
So it seems he has to settle for Gunn, although his promoter chose this opponent, not Adamek himself. Ideally he should offer to defend his title against a Sauerland cruiserweight contender like Licina, Huck or Hernandez and appear on one of their cards in Europe. The three I mentioned are all ranked by the IBF already, Gunn is not, although he is WBC #15.

i hate this fight. Make no mistake Adamek is a huge draw.
I was at 2 of his fights and attendance was 22k at one place and 13 k at the other, both sell outs.
I swear I was in frickin Poland.
I think Adamek could do quite well in any major us city.
I've witnessed this first hand.
He definitely has some bargaining power at this stage of the game.
