Calzaghe is a better fighter than what his most hardcore detractors are willing to give him credit for but that's where it should end. All people need to do is go look up the guy's record. He wasn't a risk taker at all and how can you be considered an all-time great when you don't take risks. Things like refusing rematches to people who you won a split decision against and rematching a guy you knocked out in the first round shouldn't reflect kindly on your legacy. I'm just not impressed with wins over Branco Sabat, Mario Viet, Peter Manfredo, Tocker Pudwill, Charles Brewer, and Jeff Lacy. An all-time great wouldn't have barely sc****d by Robin Reid.

Oh you're dead on about Floyd. I agree with you about that. I consider him an even bigger ducker than Calzaghe. Floyd is fighting at and near a couple of divisions that are deep as **** and in Calzaghe's defense the suppermiddleweight division wasn't all that strong. And if Joe came back I think he would beat Chad Dawson and Glen Johnson(who I'm a big fan of and thought he got ripped off against Chad). But I'm skeptical about Floyd being able to beat Shane Mosley and Paul Williams. I'm even one of the few people picking Juan Manuel Marquez to beat him in an upset. Of those 9 only Woodhall is a paper champion, all the rest are worthy names on anyones resume.
