    Cotto & Team Cotto:
-"That's the thing he does for his entire career. He run from the really good boxer kind, he choose the others. I don't know how the people who know about boxing put him in the first place in the pound-for-pound champion."

-Cotto says he sees vulnerablilities in Mayweather which he knows how to exploit. "He's quick. He's fast. But when you put pressure on him he closes his mind."

-"We’re rivals,” Cotto said. “Mayweather is a star of the sport and we’re in the same company. Mayweather was a great champion at 130 and 135. We don’t know about 140. When the company says the time is right to make the fight, I’ll fight him. I think it's a good fight. I know Mayweather's a great fighter. But I know I can beat him."

Reporter: Do you think Mayweather actually is afraid of you?
Cotto: I don't know what kind of reason he has for choosing another fighter. If you want to be the best you have to fight the best.
Reporter: You actually believe you will beat Floyd don't you?
Cotto: I'm pretty sure of that, because of my training. Because of my - I trust a lot in myself. And I'm always do more than 100% in my training sessions.

-"I can't fight a guy who doesn't want to face me," Cotto said.

    there ya go

But he does know what he's talking about. Mayweather was asked (and blasted) by the media when he didn't select Cotto as his next opponent after Ricky Hatton. Shortly after agreeing to a second fight with De La Hoya, he came on ESPN twice, and a late night talk show where he stated that Cotto was "too green" at the time.

that second de la hoya fight was absolute trash, to the point where if he fought de la hoya again and retired, there would be virtually no argument about when and where hed potentially fight cotto. at least at this point, there is a chance that would happen.

You constantly do this, along with your ad-hom attacks on other users, you contribute very little in terms of actual knowledge on most subjects and spend most of your time contributing the same contrived BS that makes the board less desirable. I have nothing more to say to you, period. You smell like an alt regardless.
the guy said to me that cotto and his team said. i proved that not only it isn't true, but that floyd said it

i passed knowledge, didn't i? i never insulted the one that claimed that cotto said that, did i?

maybe i'm that alt with the highest post count on boxingscene then. if thinking that and shutting up makes you happy, go ahead

no, it wouldn't double that. no fight involving floyd would sell 100k in england. heck, no fight with hatton would sell 100k in england

                  that made absolutely no sense

so you've killed people people and call yourself respectful? unless it was in self defense, you're an hypocritical old bastard

yeah, that floyd hugger got his share for talking crap

                    oh wait, here's one more:

                    - Roger Mayweather said he considers Tszyu the true champion, but thinks Cotto actually would be his nephew’s most difficult fight at 140 pounds.
