Why these guys decided to follow the rules now is beyond me. Their cruiserweight title fight with Ramirez and Alekseev sure deserved a shot more than someone who's won 2 of their titles in 2 different weight classes. We all know Zsolt Erdei fights all challengers. Inkin-Zuniga, Lockett and Jennings were more than worthy #1's and mandatories, Cotto was coming off a loss, but he's a huge name so he gets a pass. Diego Silva deserved the interim title fight against Montiel. All of this haa happened in the past year only btw. This would have been a good competitive fight... Oh well, back to the drawing board.

listen noob, all I said was that Campbell-Bradley was being DISCUSSED, and it WAS being discussed. Up until the point that Shaw wanted options. And then that was the end of the discussion. What you DIDNT see from me (unlike Guzman's people) was a press release going out saying the fight was made, on this date, on this card, on this network, etc., etc.

That was courtesy of the WBA. Right now, it seems 2 sanctioning bodies are consistently applying the rules, and thats the IBF and the WBO, and 2 bodies (WBC and WBA) just make it up as they go along......

I'll do you one better..... Even though Kotelnik just did a mandatory defense in Feb against Madiena, the WBA has sanctioned Ortiz-Madiena as an Interim title fight. I'd love to hear the explanation for that one.....lol
