I'll do you one better..... Even though Kotelnik just did a mandatory defense in Feb against Madiena, the WBA has sanctioned Ortiz-Madiena as an Interim title fight. I'd love to hear the explanation for that one.....lol
nah the wbo is still shady with so many interim belts
i mean that peterson guy still hasnt stepped up and he is already the champion?
and what about victor emilio ramirez the guy was ranked like 60 of his weight class when he fought alexeev
imo the ibf is the only one following the rules
but the wbc is still the most prestigious belt, i mean u wont see guys like ndou arthur or concepcion holding the wbc belt

I'm actually curious as to why you think the WBO allowing this would have been a good thing.......
you are defending the sanctioning organizations? do you have any dignity? they constantly prevent good fights from happening while making blatant mismatches over and over again. their ranking system is basically pulling names out of a hat. how else do you explain jennings and lockett? how else do you explain calzaghe's entire "title reign" guess you like watching crappy fights over and over again. lamont peterson is better than guzman how? cause the wbo says so? laughable

i gotta admit that fightin gguzman does nothing for bradley. if anything guzman can really spoil bradley's future prospects by making him look silly at times.

I agree with you on the interim title thing. WAYYY to many of those. IBF rules only permit interim titles when a champion is injured for an extended period of time......

because rankings should be based on achievement, not based on perceived talent. Guzman has no business skipping over everyone at 140 and getting the title shot. He has done nothing to deserve it, whether you think he is talented or not. He should fight someone already ranked at 140, or fight an eliminator or something, just like everyone else.........

and as for your assertion that sanctioning bodies prevent good fights, they also mandate them. If not for mandatory defense requirements, you might not have gotten Pavlik-Taylor, Jones-Tarver, Diaz-Campbell, Williams-Margarito, and a thousand other fights that only happened because of a mandatory obligation.....

why is campbell ranked number 3 at 140? he has achieved nothing there. guess you are gonna complain to the wbo and have his rankings taken away?

Braldey would never be a champion with a "mandatory" being forced on Witter. I remember Witter said that he would never have considered Bradley without the mandatory being forced.

Campbell gets a number three ranking because he vacated the WBO title at 135 to move up.

Reason why it is hard for me to still be a fan. Dude should just fight whoever, regardless of it being against a no namer
