I think if the Manny from May 2nd fought the Hatton from 2007 Manny would have won. Maybe not in 2 rnds but he would have won.

        I don't think so...Hatton of 07 is no Diaz.

I thought Hatton was done after the Mayweather fight too. Mayweather had knocked Hatton out cold when he couldnt even score a knockdown against Baldomir Delahoya or Judah. Hatton just doesnt have the chin to fight against the best anymore and he hasnt improved skill wise probably since the Tzysu* fight. Every Great old boxer learns different things to add to their game and improves on their weakness. Ricky basically has been playing with the same toys since the 90s. I thought after the Paulie Mallliginiigngiii* fight Ricky may have learned some new tricks like being patient and using his jab more but i think he showed us otherwise. I am not saying Ricky should retire but he fits the description of a shot fighter. Maybe he can Have a Gate Keeping role like Kermit Cintron and just fight Up and Comers to see who belongs. I do think Hatton should fight Amir Khan to see which oompa loompa rules the UK and would be a big money fight in Europe and a good matchup for a Hbo telecast.

Vernon Forrest hit Baldomir (at 154) with punches that had Shane crying for his mama.

            Nobody stops Baldomir at 147

No..But Pac is strong and quick enough to beat him. It would just be tougher.

i agree with you about Baldomir and Judah fell a few times in his fight with mayweather but were not counted. That being said i still do not believe Mayweather has the KO power that knocks someone out cold like he did Hatton. If anything else hatton just has a glass jaw and with limited skills and adaptability that is not a good combination with the class of fighters like PacMan Ortiz Holt and now Marquez.

reckoned he wasn't ready, probably the biggest mistake of his career as he was at his very best at that point. Fighting Pac was his second biggest mistake, you don't agree to fight a guy in Vegas who has dismantled a legend like ODLH at a higher weight class. It was slightly arrogant imo

I'm a Hatton fan but Pac would've sparked that version of Hatton too and probably the version that beat Tszyu.
