it has got nothing to do how devestating his style was or is..hatton never expiriences loss before..we re talking about mentally finished..he was still a decent fighter but not what we've seen from him before the floyd fight..he lost that "something" ..and most fighters do when they lose for the first time after a long run undefeated career..only a few bounced back.

Oscar retired after the one sided beatdown he recieved from Pac. So basically Pac ended his career. Now Hatton after the devastating 2nd rd ko he recieved from Pac now in the brink of retiring. If he retire afterwards then Pac basically is the one who ended his career not Floyd.

yes but the goods were already damaged, its a progressive thing people dont take into account all the beatings boxers receive in the gym the amateurs,training, age plus tough fights,it all adds up some fighters are more pre dispositioned toward kos than others ;and many contributing factors there also.hatton has been repeatedly hurt in his past recent fights ,in hindsight it was the next step in a long road of beatings primarily due to his style and chin.its like being surprised when gatti got ko'd it was bound to happen.pac happened to be the one whom put the period on the sentence as hes a very hard and accurate puncher.so it was only logical that would happen. if mayrunner whom really isnt a power puncher ko'd him, 2 years and tough fights after are we surprised?

umm Hatton never looked good after Money May, unless you count PM, and if you count a runt like that, a glorified club fighter, as a good win for AssHatt, then yur crazy... Floyd ended AssHat's career as we knew it, for sure.

Actually, Hatton will fight on, so nobody has ended his career yet.

One thing of note however is that Floyd did beat a Hatton that was mentally stronger for what it's worth. The way Hatton was talking all that crap before the Pacquiao fight was a tale tale sign that he knew he was in for a tough test and doubt was in his mind. He had to compensate with his mouth, which he has never been known to do really.

It was a dead giveaway that he was allowing the thought of actually losing creep into his mind, which I don't think he even fathomed for once before or in the Tszyu fight and before the 6th round or so against Floyd.
