It's a known fact that JMM and Floyd Mayweather were chasing Naseem Hamed and he turned both of them down



This was largely due to the fact Hamed was chasing Barrera and Morales (both better fighters and bigger draws at that moment in time).

1. he offered JMM a fight, JMM turned it down

2. PBF was never in Hamed's weight division.

Hamed was chasing Morales AND Barrera before his fight with MAB.

Naz even said himself he thought Morales was the better and harder opponent. I think he actually wanted Morales more but Barrera took it up first because he didnt want to see Morales possibly KO Hamed and then walk away with a big paycheque that he could miss out on...
