Like others have said I remember hearing Steward say he was keeping Hamed away from JMM because the fight was too risky. So basically their was better money fights out there for him. He knew JMM could possibly school him so they stayed away. If they were to fight back then I would pick JMM by decision. Hamed would have had a chance with his power, but Marquez would have found the openings all night long.

Its funny how people are saying JMM was Naz's WBO manditory so he should've fought him........lol. Naz won all 4 belts at featherweight, isnt that supposed to be important thatn fighting WBO manditories? I think people are revising history making out that back then JMM was the fighter he is today. Barrera was a bigger and better fightComment

Can you explain how you see it then. Are you saying Hamed wouldn't have given both Pac and JMM serious problems if they had fought? And are you saying Hamed couldn't have knocked Pac out with a clean shot? Oh dear.I bet JMM was glad he missed the fight when he saw Augie get smashed and carried out on a stretcher.
Anyne who thinks prime Naz doesn't give JMM or Pac serious problems is a ****** and needs to watch some of his fights again. If Naz hit Pac with a clean shot he wouldn't have gotten up for a week, he was a harder puncher and had a better chin.
Can you also show where in my post it says that, because it actually says this:
Which is nothing about Hamed putting JMM on a stretcher, it states the fact that Augie was carried out on one.I bet JMM was glad he missed the fight when he saw Augie get smashed and carried out on a stretcher.
The punches Hamed threw that night would have KO'd anyone. So stop putting up one line bull**** replies when you haven't even read the thread or thought about what you're posting.Last edited by NorvernRob; 05-22-2009, 07:44 AM.Comment
