Floyd vs Brian Kenny. Who owned who?

Look, guys, this **** needs to stop. It really does. Anyone who has posted here on this site for a long time has probably seen me sporadically and knows when I open my mouth (or let my fingers go in this case) I try and do so intelligently, without bias for a particular fighter or cause out of blind fandom.
I like Floyd Mayweather as a boxer. I like watching his technical ability. I like the way he runs his mouth and pumps up fights. He's the bad guy and it sells fights; loving the sport, I love when a fight is bigger because Floyd talked a big game- Ali and others throughout the years all did it in their own way, too.
Seriously, though, stop the ****. If you post on this site you know- and don't even lie- before every big Mayweather fight there are dozens of you saying, "De La Hoya is an all time legend and he'll shut Floyd's mouth," or, "Hatton is a brawler, a real mad dog inside fighter. Floyd is going to learn.." Then, after the fight, two dozen people are making excuses why, even though they picked the other guy to win- not just rooting for the other guy but getting on a soapbox telling us why Floyd would lose- after it's all said and done why Floyd deserves no credit.
Every single Floyd fight for the last three or four years has people explaining, in detail, why Floyd should or will lose. Listen up: if you pick the other guy to win, and rep that fighter as a good boxer- and his opponent wins- you should automatically throw respect for that win to the victor. It only makes sense if you say someone is good, and a guy beats him, you go, 'yeah, alright, don't like this ****er Floyd but solid win...'
Now, Floyd said some real **** that people who hate him- and yes, I agree he is begging to be hated- refuse to admit. What did he point out?
Well, he pointed out he was forced to fight Oscar at 154; a better weight for DLH. Even Freddy Roach in the Pacquiao-Hatton 24/7 made a comment about seeing IV marks on Oscar's arm telling him he'd killed himself to make weight and had to rehydrate back stage telling Pac, "To jump on him." So? What floyd said was fact.
Then Mayweather pointed out he's been wearing 10 oz gloves? Is that a lie? Now, nobody is going to say that Floyd and Pacquiao have the same power. They'd be idiots. Obviously, though, if you are allowed to wear 8 oz gloves you'll hit harder; fact. Sure, we can argue that the size of the gloves didn't impact the fight outcome but please gentlemen, suck it up, he wasn't wrong or ignorant to point that fact out.
Now, I very, very rarely defend Floyd Mayweather on these forums but this is ridiculous. How did he not have a valid point when he said everyone gives him **** for his wins? He's ****ing right. If he beats Manny Pacquiao- and he said this to Kenny- half of his detractors are just going to say, 'Oh, there he goes picking on smaller guys. Of course he won.'
This is true. Floyd pointed out that people always have a reason- because he's an *******- to take away from his acheievments. Call Floyd an egotistical, conceited prick, but give him his credit.
So because Manny beat Oscar to ****, somehow he gets credit for a win- despite Oscar's weight issues- that even now most of you won't give to Floyd? How does that make sense?
Really, I'm sure I'll get labeled as some sort of Floyd Mayweather jock rider for this, but I think he made quite a few valid point in his interview. I do believe he'll make more money fighting Marquez, with a loyal Mexican fan base, than Shane Mosley. I also believe he'll never get full credit for his wins unless he becomes a power punching, high offensive machine like Manny Pacquiao. Guess what? Floyd Mayweather is not Manny Pacquiao. He doesn't fight with that type of offense, he doesn't have that type of pop- and because he's a technical boxer and half the people, even on these forums, just want to see somebody get ****ed up.
Some of you don't care about the technical aspects of boxing so much as the blood-lust of watching someone get hurt, bloodied, and knocked out. That's only part of the sport for me.
For the record- before you guys dismiss everything I said- I think Manny Pacquiao needs to be considered p4p right now. Floyd left the sport and Manny kept racking up wins. Diaz gave him another belt at another weight class, Oscar- despite being older- was the larger man and many of us thought he'd lose, and the way he chewed up and spit Hatton out was one of the most brutal PPV wins I have ever seen.
My point of this post is to say- and I'm saying this to the general audience here not at anyone in particular- get your head out of your ass. I don't like Tarver but if he beat Chad Dawson I would've given him credit for wrangling down the younger champion; why can't you guys hate Floyd, consider him an *******, wish he'd fight some welterweight and yet have a grudging respect for the technical ability he shows and the wins he racks up?
I think Marquez is a very good fighter who, depending on how he looks at the higher weight, has a real chance at Floyd. Sure, he's smaller, but if Mayweather wins I am going to give him the nod for beating a sound, technical, pound for pound ranked boxer- despite everything.
Summary: Hate Floyd's personality, root for his downfall, but don't stubbornly pick him to lose, make excuses on why he's no good, and then deny every positive thing he could possibly accomplish.
****As far as Floyd ducking the WW's- well, even if Manny Pacquiao fought a time or two at 147 in the future, I would never consider him a true welterweight. He's a smaller man. I wouldn't suggest you throw him in with Cotto, Margarito, Williams or any of those men- JUST BECAUSE THEY ALL CAMPAIGN AT 147. Why do we suggest Floyd needs to do that or not be the best? Floyd might have moved up in weight more slowly than Manny, but they're both from South of where they now fight. Don't forget that.****Comment

don't confuse me with the other floyd haters.
i hate floyd with a passion but i don't make thread after thread about him.
i just make fun of him and talk crap about him.
i give him credit for 130 and 135.
i'm one of the few floydhaters that say it was okay to fight hatton , baldo and oscar.
i would much rather he have fought marg or later cotto but even i state the fact that baldo had a lineal title and hatton and oscar were for big money and he was right for taking those fights.Comment

Just seen the video and Kenny was just trying to make himself look tough, Hasnt he learn from the last time when he was accusing Mayweather of ducking Baldomir and Hatton???
Doesnt he knows that it takes two to make a fight??? He seem to just want to accuse/Blame Mayweather for not going after Pacman straight away..Comment

because kenny answers when floyd asks a question. he even answers honestly.
it seemed like every question brian asked floyd didn't answer and changed the subject.
you can't make someone admit something if they don't answer the question.Comment

Yeah, and that's the exact reason I don't post here very often. It's too hard for half of you to pry your hand from your itchy ******* for three seconds to type full words, let alone read a long post.
Half the threads anymore aren't about discussion so much as arguing ignorantly with logic and intelligence being replaced by hilarious photoshop jobs illustrating a point your brain is unable to without visual aid. Cong**** all of you who fall into that category.
I love that I'm supposed to take seriously three people on this page, as being intelligent and not simply biased, when one only refers to Mayweather as 'Mr. Boat buyer' even in his signature, the other has Floy'd head on a rubber ducky (that's so clever by the by) and the other has, in bold letters, 'Cotto-Floyd must happen'; there's no ulterior motive there, right?
I'm not even saying you guys are idiots. I'm saying you guys need to realize no intelligent poster on this site, whether they sit you down and explain this or not, will ever take your opinion seriously when you show such overt, unintelligent bias.
