I'm sorry you are sick of getting owned. Boxing is about weight classes not water gained at the fight night weight, You don't like it, change it.

Why be called P4P best fighters, when you don't even fight a fighter at his best weight?

You have Money Pacquiao fighting a weight-drained, dead De La Hoya at 147 which means absolutely nothing at that weight after Hoya not making it for almost a DECADE.

You have Money Mayweather fighting a bloated up Lightweight that was moving up to JWW, and now he is making him come up to 147 to fight him there, which means nothing at all.

Why are these guys called P4P best?
If anyone is the P4P best fighter in the world it's JUAN MANUEL MARQUEZ.

Yeah props to Pacquiao for beating Hatton(already KO'd by FMJ) at his best weight, Barrera(Already lost badly to Junior Jones) at his best weight, and arguably beating Marquez, also in his best weight atm.
Props to Floyd for beating Corrales, Castillo(2), and De La Hoya, Baldomir at their best weight.

But now, they are not P4P best fighters, they are fighting with all the advantages on their side.

JUAN MANUEL MARQUEZ is the best P4P fighter, #1, undeniably. Arguably beat Money Pacquiao TWICE, KO'ed the two best Lightweights in his only two fights at Lightweight, and now is moving up to 147, skipping Junior Welterweight, to fight FMJ against all odds in a fight dubbed by many as a tune-up for Floyd.

Floyd and Manny, get your game up and follow what JMM is doing. Roach, stop trying to be slick weight draining fighters for the "P4P #1 fighter in the world" Money Pacquiao.

Who ever fights a real WW first, of FMJ and MP, is the best P4P fighter in the world. don't come with that bullspit of making it "fair" for Pacquiao because he is the "smaller" man and he can't fight at WW anymore(for some reason), and Floyd should fight SSM after fighting Pacquiao.

      Agree or Disagree?
This is an unbiased post made for everybody to post their opinions on.
I agree man....Mayweather and Pac can learn a lesson from Marquez....he is going into a fight with all the disadvantages....

Yeah your right , it really frustrates me how people in a dedicated boxing forum dont understand the basics of the sport , weight is important and they need to know the difference between weigh-in 30hrs earlier and actual fight night weight , these guys are into hype not the facts of boxing .

He took a dodgy SD against a 43 year old. Fight dirty? Calzaghe himself admitted to low blows.

He had his chance to face Prime RJJ, Hopkin Toney etc. But he stayed in the UK, facing "Woodhall" lmfao

jmm is gonna be killed. but even still kevin, weight doesnt make a big difference from 160 on down. think about it, from 119 to 154, you have 7 weight classes, in only 35 lbs. Thats utterly rediculous. From 160 up, you have only 4 in like 65 lbs. So it really doesnt make a big diff. in the lower classes if you ask me.

Can't knock Pac for whoopin a guy who was supposed to ****in kill him wit the 1st landed power punch, even if DLH didn't look strong. Mr boat buyer should fight a ****in real WW if he can't make 140. And JMM is a close 2nd to Pac. That's pretty clear. Losin to Mr boat buyer at WW shouldn't count against him.

Regardless what shape DLH was in on fight night you still have to beat the man infront of you. Pacquiao prepared himself for that best ODLH, he does not have crystal ball that tells him ODLH is gonna let him peck the **** outta him because he is dead at the weight. As far as Pac is concerned he is fighting a guy that has is/was now a natural 154 lbs and a guy who has a long string of knockouts.

Pacquiao is coming up in weight to. That is a challenge which ever way you look at it from the OUTSET. Nobody knew ODLH would look that bad NOBODY. Pacquiao took a big gamble right there.

Well, even though Manny beat Marquez in the head-to-head matchup I view JMM's body of work since that fight more impressive by a long shot. Like people say, KOing Casamayor and Diaz and now moving up practically two weight divisions to fight Mayweather is easier to give props for than Manny's victories over David Diaz, ODH, and Ricky Hatton. This is why Marquez deserves the rubber match especially if he happens to beat Floyd.
