Why be called P4P best when you don't even...

This thread is to criticize both Floyd and Manny.

Why be called P4P best fighters, when you don't even fight a fighter at his best weight?

You have Money Pacquiao fighting a weight-drained, dead De La Hoya at 147 which means absolutely nothing at that weight after Hoya not making it for almost a DECADE.

You have Money Mayweather fighting a bloated up Lightweight that was moving up to JWW, and now he is making him come up to 147 to fight him there, which means nothing at all.

Why are these guys called P4P best?
If anyone is the P4P best fighter in the world it's JUAN MANUEL MARQUEZ.

Yeah props to Pacquiao for beating Hatton(already KO'd by FMJ) at his best weight, Barrera(Already lost badly to Junior Jones) at his best weight, and arguably beating Marquez, also in his best weight atm.
Props to Floyd for beating Corrales, Castillo(2), and De La Hoya, Baldomir at their best weight.

But now, they are not P4P best fighters, they are fighting with all the advantages on their side.

JUAN MANUEL MARQUEZ is the best P4P fighter, #1, undeniably. Arguably beat Money Pacquiao TWICE, KO'ed the two best Lightweights in his only two fights at Lightweight, and now is moving up to 147, skipping Junior Welterweight, to fight FMJ against all odds in a fight dubbed by many as a tune-up for Floyd.

Floyd and Manny, get your game up and follow what JMM is doing. Roach, stop trying to be slick weight draining fighters for the "P4P #1 fighter in the world" Money Pacquiao.

Who ever fights a real WW first, of FMJ and MP, is the best P4P fighter in the world. don't come with that bullspit of making it "fair" for Pacquiao because he is the "smaller" man and he can't fight at WW anymore(for some reason), and Floyd should fight SSM after fighting Pacquiao.

p4p is not about jumping various weight classes, its a mythical title made up to decide who the best fighter is overall.
But I agree with making other fighters come in at a weight where they are at a bad disadvantage is a ***** move.
U wanna fight JMM, do it at 135 or 140.
U wanna fight Sugar Shane or Cotto, do it at 147

          disagree.

          pac beat jmm 2x.

I don't figure dlh as to why pac is p4p #1, but he did make dlh quit while floyd won a SD.

floyd should atleast make the fight seem fair and fight at a catchweight.

Are you guys totally ignorant to what goes on this the board , the weights of these have been hashed for days in thread after thread , many discussions and links have been posted to enlighten people what the 30 hr weigh-in is doing to boxing and its consequences .

Dont mix weigh-in weight with actual step in fight weight ,,,, JMM steps into the ring at 144 this is his best fight weight 135 is minus WATER only , Cotto steps into the ring at 160+ , Floyd steps in at 148 and Pac steps in the ring at 147 ,,,,,,, do you understand who is the biggest who is the smallest by how much and who is really disadvantaged in these match ups ,,,, OBVIOUSLY NOT dont worry your not alone 90% of this board has no clue and then call themselves boxing fans lol .
