Floyd Explains Why It Took Him Longer, to beat Hatton

Hatton didn't carelessly rush in on Floyd like he did on Pac until after the point deduction in the 7th. Floyd is also more defensive to avoid getting caught like Pac does at times by being wild. The "check hook" didn't KO Ricky it knocked him down because he jumped into and he also got up where Floyd finished him like he was supposed to. Why do so many posters think the check hook KO'd Ricky? It was the the combo's Floyd threw while sitting down on his punches after he had Ricky stunned that stopped him, Ricky got hit with about 10-20 more shots while Floyd was sitting down on his punches after the check hook knock down... Hatton never really recovered from that body shot in the 8th versus Floyd though.

For whatever reason Hatton's team didn't believe that Pac could hurt him and when Pac stunned and knocked Ricky down with the right he should have fought much more cautious and clinched until Pac slowed down some.
