there's no reason to go to 168 lbs.
Froch Kessler and Taylor are all top guys at 168 and those are the fights he's looking for "IF" he goes down to that division. Personally I think he'll stay at 175 for his next fight though.

Does a champion have to rematch everybody who he wins a close decision against? That's ridiculous. Dawson won the fight close but clear. He has the right to move down to 168, and is taking WAY more risk by moving down to a young, talented division than he would be by staying around 175.
      couldn't agree more

froch, kessler and taylor are big names. I think dawson just wants to go name hunting.

personally they will all have to eventually move up into dawson's territory.

Johnson is ten times more deserving of a rematch than this guy is. Of course I'll hold off the venom on Chad until he finalizes his next move but the only fight that he should be considering is with Glen and not some borderline Suppermiddle weight contender that keeps lookin at his feet and nearly got knocked out by Donnie McCrary. I don't necessarily dislike Green but he needs to beat someone with a pulse before landing a fight against someone with name recognition. How about a fight with Bika?

dawson would easily outbox green. now that ward is a contender at 168 the division is pretty good. dawson though to me is in dangerous waters at this division. i don't see him succeeding. ward is the future of 168

The only big fights for Dawson in 175 are Glen Johnson, Adrian Diaconu, and Tavoris Cloud. Actually Tavoris Cloud is more of a mandatory thing.

Dawson should fight those three or at least Tavoris Cloud and Glen Johnson than consider moving down to 168.

Andre Dirrell, Lucian Biute, and Mikkel Kessler would beat the snought out of Andre Ward.

Chad Dawson is a champion, he wouldn't waste his time with crappy ass Allen Green. If Dawson can't get a fight with Kessler, Bute, Froch or Balzsay, than Dawson has no reason to move down to 168.

Taylor=a gatekeeper who has beaten Hopkins twice(SD and UD).

Froch=one of the most exciting fighter in the game.

Kessler=fought Calzaghe in Wales unlike Hopkins.
"Stuck in Europe"(yeah the VERY DOMINANT continent were the 4 belts are).
