    you don't know yet?

This is why I don't blame Tyson for havin gone on just for the $. He needed it and was no longer prime, but still was the biggest name out there.

And Jr is crazy. Dude's intelligent and knows his boxing, but he's a ****in psychopath. He's angry wit me for some reason. He wants me to tell him wasup wit his mom. He wants me to forgive Mr boat buyer for never fightin tough comp at WW and be a fan again. When I don't give Jr the answers he wants, he snaps and starts rantin. I dunno what his deal is.

Every boxer fights for money. They are called prize fighters, not legacy fighters. People talk about how back then, the best fought the best but truth is the be$t are still fighting the be$t, nothing has changed. Just happend to be that the best WW's back then were also the Be$t WW's back then. If you were a boxer, you too would want the be$t fights. That legacy talk is bull****, sit down with a pro boxer off camera and he'll tell you the truth himself.

              look at it this way.

floyd gets paid the same amount if the fight is at 147 or 144.

so why does floyd want the fight at 147? BECAUSE HE CARES THAT HE HAS NO LOSSES!!!

Guys like Hopkins, Marquez, etc are all about legacy as well.
hopkins is about his paper. so is marquez thats y he has no problem fighting floyd and agreeing to any terms cause he wants that paper. fighters fight for money end of

Legacy and Money both go hand in hand. Sugar Ray, Duran, Hagler, etc all made mad money BUT fought each other one time or another. Of course fighters are going to tell you that its about money, because at the end of the day it is. But in order to gain the money, you have to earn the respect from the public who are going to pay to see you fight the best fighters. But to say most fighters don't care about legacy in the sport is a bit of a stretch. They want both the fame and the money.

Floyd is one of the exceptions to the rule as he's proved he's not very interested in fighting the big challenges that will also be lucrative contrary to what many on this site may think whether its a fight with either Cotto or Mosley.
