Thompson and Rahman were also really ****ty boring fights was that Ibragimovs fault, they got KO'd, but more out of exhaustion, they fell over.

Your talking some biased bull**** son.
Rahman was just trying to survive too, after he was hit hard in the first round.

The Thompson fight was a good one I thought.

Please, before commenting again, watch the Ibragimov-Briggs fight. Briggs hardly threw a right in the whole fight! There is something about Sultan's feints and angles that makes his opponent miss and look ******.

Thompson fight good? now thats bull****, I really don't understand people that enjoy fights like that, If people like you enjoy it, Wlad will keep doing it.

Wlad does KO people, but there's a reason nobody knows the Heavyweight champ at the moment, Tyson scorded KO's against bums but unlike Wlad he was known EVERYWHERE because his fights were exciting.

And LMAO is Ibragimov such a good fighter that he makes fighters fight HIS fight, making them do what HE wants, Ibragimov says no right hand, he means no right hand, Wlad had better listen.

**** Wlad. Vitalli is the truth and needs to start knocking these fools out. He is the only heavyweight I care about.

All I know is, that despite Klitschko's speed and power, he's never knocked out an opponent like Lewis vs Rahman II. Klitschko punches hard, but Lewis was more devastating IMO. Klitschko needs to start coming out firing, if he wants his fights to be watchable.
            Wlad hits harder than Lewis

Lewis couldn't even knockdown, hurt or stop Mercer

Wlad was the first man to knockdown and stop Mercer

Seven world title fight wins in a row, six of them stoppages, and if he gets past Haye, IMO, he will surpass Tyson's ten in a row.

No, Tyson was known everywhere because the media hyped him.

The Thompson fight wasn't FOTY, but it was okay. Thompson too has an awkward southpaw style that kept him off US TV, but at least he tried to win.

Yes, Lewis never knocked Mercer down, while Wlad did in the first round.

Many observers thought Mercer deserved to win a close decision in his fight with Lennox.

You still have to deliver. Same reason Jordan was hyped by the Media but delivered in the end. Same reason why Tiger Woods was hyped by the media but delivered.
Plus, Tyson won the title at 20 so he was considered a Phenom. People love Phenoms (like Tiger and Jordan). It probably also helped that he wasn't that big of a HW yet he was beating up on guys bigger than him. The size of Wlad/Vitali might actually hinder their popularity a bit.

I'm not positive but I do think things were starting to slow down with Tyson after Spinks which is why few paid attention to the Douglas fight. And then when he got beat, interest started again. A Tyson that wasn't trained was more vulnerable and that makes it exciting again. Same reason why he was even bigger when he came out of jail. Tyson kept the interest alive with his antics.

I used to be real hyped about Wlad but then he got Knocked out by Sanders. That kind of knocked things down I think in the American media. The next big thing just went down in two rounds. Long road back to the top when you weren't really at the top in the first place.
