    I hope Cottos not overlooking Clottey with this nonsense. Im sure Cotto is up for the challenge considering the paycheck involved fighting Pacman. Personally I think Cotto should be calling out Mayweather now that he's back.

      Paul Williams is a welterweight

      During his last fight with Winky Wright, Paul Williams had trouble getting up to 154 or whatever it was they fought at. And they said he would easily make 147 because he is just naturally a slim man.

        The fact that Clottey isn't mentioning wanting to fight Pacquiao is causing my respect to go up for him. I'm rootin for him to break Cotto's ass in half which he'll have to do to get the victory in Madison Square Garden on the eve of the Rican Day Parade.

          Make this fight happen @144lbs both of these guys are
          goin to get paid in a millions of dollar anyway so let them fight. I dont
          really care who win on this fight, the bottom line is i wanna see action
          pack, exciting, toe to toe punching boxing match. Two explosive boxer
          goin at each other...

          2 explosive fighter PACMAN + COTTO = PURE BOXING ENTERTAINMENT
          2 counter puncher J.MARQUEZ + GAYWEATHER = BORING

          30 seconds remaining on the 12th round, still both fighter are waiting
          to make the first move....

            @147

            144 does not have a title, 147 win would mean so much more for his legacy. a loss would tell us his limits, but should be a great fight nonetheless

              Are you takin' the piss? Tell Leonard Ellerbe to offer Williams a shot @ Money May, and you'll get proof-positive that P-Will isn't just a WW, but the best WW on the planet.

                If Pac can fight DLH at 147 then he can fight Cotto at 147. He is always trying to gain the advantage when it comes to weight.

                  um... cotto's 147 title will be on the line even if the fight is at a catchweight.

                  welterweight = 147-141 lbs

                    actually they all wanna fight pac, but if they wanna fight pac they gotta come down at a catchweight. a cotto/mosley/pbf round robin is

                    They ask roach about a fight w/ mosley and cotto. if the interviewer didn't ask, roach wouldn't say.

                    No, cotto/mosley II does need to happen to crown the WW champion. only a newb wouldn't understand that.

                    cotto needs to fight both, margo to get his revenge and mosley to determine who is the WW king.

                    Roach already said that DLH was a 1 time deal. also 147 was a catchweight for DLH... if DLH has to fight pac at a catchweight then logically cotto and mosley have to fight pac at a catchweight.

                    lols... advantage!!!

                    on fight night mosley and cotto are damn near MWs and pac is a WW...

                    its got nothing to do with advantage and everythign to do with fairness.

                    I dunno why fans of mosleya nd cotto don't understand this. without a catchweight pac vs mosley/cotto is a mismatch.

                    I rest my case.

                    I love boxing fanatics. They want all the credit in the world for their boxer but also all the excuses in the world lock, stock,loaded, & ready to justify their mental anguish if their fighter loses.

                    I think people need to be reminded as great as Pacquiao is, the guy started his career at 106 pounds. He's a career featherweight & lightweight. No matter how good he looked vs oscar or hatton he is not a true 140/47 pounder.

                    He weighed in at 142 for a welterweight showdown vs oscar for christ sake.
