Lets be real about 2 things. Floyd wasnt going to get any credit had this fight been at 143-144 as people were already ripping him the whole time and 2nd, JMM was not going to beat Floyd anyway. I swear people act like Floyd sucks on here. JMM had no chance. He doesnt have a win in any single catagory over Floyd and Im talking about even at LW. He's not better at anything.
The reason why I love this fight being at WW is what Ive said all along. The future. Stop overlooking the future. The whole time you guys cried about Floyd fighting WW's. He's doing this so he will fight the WW's. He wants his body to get used to that weight. As long as he stays at WW then he is no doubt going to fight the WW's. Remember what his Dad said? He said that Floyd is going to fight JMM as a tuneup and then fight Mosley next. Now I think that he will try to fight Pac 1st but if it doesnt go through then he will no doubt fight Mosley. Everyone should be happy. If you heard me talk on here then you always hear me say that my biggest worry is for Floyd to go down to 140 and then try to come back and fight the WW's. Hes too small and there too big for that. It will be a shock to his system. I was happier when they said the fight would be at 144 instead of 140 but I was still really worried about him fighting Mosley or Cotto. Its just uneasy to think about him moving down even those few pounds and then coming back up because he's that small. Thats why if youve heard me talk, Ive always said that I could easily see Floyd fighting Berto after these guys and then fighting Mosley because he will want a WW tuneup before he takes on a guy like Mosley but that it sucks because Mosley is already older. Now we dont have to worry about that. He wont need to fight Berto 1st to get back use to the weight.
Now I have no worries about him fighting Mosley next. It still will be somewhat of a shock to him because Mosley will obviously be much faster & stronger then JMM but as long as he never had to lose weight then its fine. Not only do I not want him to go under WW since he wont get credit anyways but my hope is that he comes in big for the 1st time. I hear some Floyd fans talking about they bet JMM & Floyd will still be close to the same weight but I hope Floyd finally comes in the ring at like 155 pounds. If he does that then its over. Mosley & Cotto are finished. They will still be bigger and outweigh him by 7-10 pounds but there's a huge difference from 147-155for a guy like Floyd. If he gets to 155 then he dominates those WW's plain & simple and if he does that afterwards then no one will care that he made JMM come up. I think Floyd is going to make Pac come up to because hes still calling the shots, even against Pac. If he wont that Floyd wont care and will fight Mosley. Again, he will fight Shane no matter what but I think he may not fight Cotto unless he can atleast get up to 152 pounds. Thats why this WW thing is good. Stop crying for JMM. Other guys have jumped divisions for big money fights. You have no choice and he wasnt going to win anyways. I so hope this is true because my worries of Floyd fighting the WW's in the future are over.
I bet Floyd's camp has never even really thought about coming down for the JMM fight and I dont mean that in a way like there scared but I mean that in a way like they truly never even really thought about it. I bet you the convo came up and all of them were like "if the motha ****a want you and want to get paid then tell him to come to you because you the man right now". and he is the man, atleast compared to Floyd. Everyone has to go to Oscar and now everyone has to come to Floyd. JMM doesnt have to do it. He could easily say No. He could easily go fight someone else for the same scraps or fight a guy like Hatton but he wants the big money and the fame and to get that you have to go to the guy. Again, Floyd was trying to fight Oscar when he was at LW and Oscar was heading to MW. He openly said that he will fight Oscar at any weight because he knew he had to do that but he felt that he was so good he could still win. Tell JMM to do the same or fall the *** back. He stepped up so stop crying
