He'll lose to Bute, Kessler, the Dirrell brothers, and possibly Abraham or Pavlik.
PAUL WILLIAMS calls out the entire SUPERMIDDLE weight division, who will accept?

Paul Williams in a recent interview was quoted as saying.
"I want to prove I am the very best and since Kelly Pavlik doesnt want to fight I want to fight the man who beat Pavlik(hopkins), and if he doesnt want to fight, I want to fight the man who beat hopkins(calzaghe), and if he doesnt want to fight, I want to fight Carl Froch, Mikkel Kessler, or anybody who has two hands and two feet,
I want to prove I am the best, and I willing fight to prove it."
How many of you would have a problem with Carl Froch, Andre Ward,Jermain Taylor, or Mikkel Kessler fighting Paul Williams at supermiddle weight even though he just called them out?
This post PROVES how badass Paul Williams is.Comment

Pretty much what I pointed out in my post.He can fight them.. I doubt he can beat most of them.. if any.. At this point.. the man is SERIOUSLY overrated.. I am not saying he doesn't have potential.. BUT 4 fights ago he got soundly beaten at 147.. YES!! we won the rematch .. But seriously since then he has fought some BUM.. A 40 year old man with 10 losses and man who hadn't been in the ring in almost 2 years and had been fading quite noticeably previous to that.. Prior to this loss at 147lb The ONLY name on his resume was Margarito's, Who lets face it.. Is slow and easy to hit.. and Williams almost gave it away
I am not convinced yetComment

Caught this on the Mayweather/Marquez 144/147 thread.I wonder when are all the posters who were talking **** yesterday are going to come in here today and admit they should have reserve judgment untill the facts were release instead of running their mouths from reading some hater who writes a blog.
Instead they was just looking for a reason to hate, and they saw one and just went crazy.
People who were calling him a ***** yesterday just reading a false story are going to called him a ***** today and tomorrow and the day after that,
why?
Because they dont know how to be different.
Nothing changing the status quo here on boxingscene.
I just made a Paul Williams thread stating how Paul Williams called out the entire SMW Division and should the SMW's fight him at 168...
Do you know what the majority of the answers was to that question was?...
YES the SMW should fight him at 168 if he called them out....
It wasnt NO the "super middleweights should fight supermiddle weights.."
the majority arguments were if Paul Williams called them out he should fight them at SMW...Not at a catchweight but SMW...
So what does that tell you about boxingscene?
It tells me that Boxingscene is full with Poster with Self fulfilling prophecies..
meaning people are going to believe what they want to believe and go by whatever perception they want to go by no matter how facts, logical response you give them...
Nothing changes and everybody always play their roles.
Knew this was a bait thread.....does have a point though.Comment

Paul Williams' most recent fights have been at 154 and 160, but the biggest puncher he's faced is still way down at WW, 20 lbs below SMW, which is coincidentally filled with big punchers.
I can't believe so many are favoring him over guys who walk around at 180-200 lbs.
Sure he can throw 1200 punches a night, but against most of the guys at SMW his size advantage would be almost non-existent, meaning that he wouldn't be out of reach, and none of these guys are going to be worried about his power (or lack thereof). He hit Winky Wright a million times and didn't hurt him. Taylor's not the biggest puncher, but he had Winky stunned at least a few times. Froch, Kessler, and Bute would murder PWill if they laid hands on him, Ward would probably outbox/outsmart him, and if Taylor came out looking for the KO in the first 4 rounds he might actually get it.
Let's first see him against a quality MW before crowning him the king of the 168 lbers.
Actually I'd REALLY like to see him against Martinez for the 154 title...Comment
