Pacs resume without Marquez is far better then Marquez's resume. TRUE STATEMENT RIGHT THERE.
Pac 2 stoppage wins over Morales
Pac 1 UD over Barrerra and 1 stoppage earlier then when Marquez fought him.
Those 4 wins right there s#$% on Marquez's whole career.

I'll say it again NO ONE IS GONNA GIVE PAC CREDIT FOR IS WIN OVER MARQUEZ (except Pac fans), but Pac really doesnt need it.
Pacquiao didnt fight Morales nor Barrera in their prime, however Morales did beat Pacquiao once, Pacquioa fought old fighters suchas Barrera, Morales, De La Hoya, etc.

I believe Marquez is p4p 1, cause for me and all boxing experts he won both fights, Maruqez has waaaay better resume than Pacquioa.

Alright Dave, so I know you like to play devil's advocate, but wouldn't you agree that a JMM victory over PBF would put him at the top of the lb 4 lb lists?

At the top of my personal list, probably, depending on whether, and if so how much, ring rust appeared to be a major factor; and on whether the win was decisive. In terms of what The Ring's ratings panel would decide, though, I honestly don't know. Pac's last win over Hatton was extremely impressive, and it's very unusual if not unheard of for a #1 P4P fighter to be deposed while he's still winning fights impressively against credible opposition.

if he really said that Mayweather already won the fight. Marquez just wants his 10 mill

Barrera was certainly in his prime in their first fight.

Morales was close to his prime in their first two fights. And even in the third fight he was only 30, the same age as Pac is now. To the extent that he was shot in the third fight, it was more than likely the first two Pac fights that caused it, because it sure as hell wasn't because he was old.

As for the two Pac-JMM fights, most experts said that both fights were very close indeed, and very difficult to score. No very close fight can ever be called a robbery. Anyone who can't accept that a very close fight can legitimately be scored either way, and that in those circumstances, the judges' decision is final, is just a very bad loser. It is fair to say that both fights were so close that there needs to be a rubber match, though.

But who has Marquez officially beaten who is a likely future Hall of Famer? And how many lineal titles has he won? On both counts, Pac's résumé is much better.

Marquez is a truly great fighter, but to say his overall résumé is way better than Pac's is ridiculous.

              • Hmm...I just read an article at east side that says the fight is actually going to be at 147. If that's the case, I take back what I said about this fight being for the true lb for lb #1 spot. If Floyd wins, it doesn't prove much. At that weight he should be fighting Shane Mosley or Miguel Cotto.

If Marquez wins he's not ATG, he's a boxing god.

That article was based on an article in The Ring, which is here.

So much for the constant claims by Floyd's fans that Floyd is a natural Jnr Welterweight ...
