I'm 100% backin JMM to beat Mr. Boat Buyer. He's got more heart and he wants it more. A lot of people are forgetting that JMM is a lot better than the slugs that Floyd fought right before he retired. Hatton wasn't even competitive with Pacquiao and he gave Floyd problems. JMM gave Pac hell and won both of those fights in a lot of people's view. I'm ordering this PPV as long as they put a solid undercard on it.Comment

The bad part is, they don't have many good undercards on PPV's any more.I'm 100% backin JMM to beat Mr. Boat Buyer. He's got more heart and he wants it more. I wish they would have a championship fight, maybe the lower divisions where they can pay the stars less in case the man event sucks.Comment

Real weight?
JMM has fought 50 guys under 130. You don't think Floyd is a helluva a lot stronger than them?
Doesnt matter if he fought a 1000 under 130 and very few if any of them weighed under 130 on the night in the fight , the facts right now is the last 2 years he has fought guys that have weighed over 140 on the night including himself and even Pac was only 1-2 pounds from what Floyd is on the night .
JMM has never fought anyone this big, hell he hasn't fought anyone who weighed in even 10 pounds less than this at a weigh in in his welter/jr welter reign.
Yes he has Pac weighed 147 his last fight with JMM and Juan weighed 144 real weight , the actual weight when fighting .
So water weight is an indication of what division you are in.
Since when did they change those rules? Oh yeah, the 1980's.
I dont understand your comment , but yes what you able to dry out which is normally around 12 pds safely for most people taking into account people are different but average 12 lb , so water loss will definitely decide what division you fight in and this has always applied to some degree , since the advert of a 30hr time frame it will most definitely determine the lowest division you can compete in today .
Why do you think Floyd said he doesn't lose to small guys? Because JMM is a small guy and Floyd is comfortable at welter. We don't even know if JMM would be comfortable at 140 let alone welter or whatever ****amamie weight they have for this fight.
I think he says it because he knows he is that good and he believes nobody smaller will beat him and JMM is 4 pound smaller , Floyd is comfortable at welter because he dont have to sacrifice to make it like a true WW does they fight at 160 , this time around Floyd has to do a little work to dry out and JMM dont , there is not the difference in this fight people try to make out , yes its there but its only 4 pounds real weight .
JMM is smaller. Floyd's fought bigger at least 9 times.
Floyd is comfortable at this weight. JMM has never fought in it.
I dont see how you get this because JMM is fighting at his best weight 144 its not new ground as has fought Pac with the same few pound disadvantage that Floyd has and he performed great ask the many that think he beat Pac , then he comes out and KOs over Casa and Diaz .
That's a factor. Believe it.
Fight night weight doesn't mean ****. It's not even in the rules.
Floyd has plenty of experience here. JMM has none.
Fight night weight doesnt mean **** ,,,,, thats is the most ****** ridicules comment ever made on this board ,,, have a bit of think what you are saying ,,,, the size they are when they are actually fightint dont mean anything , that is truly laughable
Floyd will win for many reasons but don't think being the bigger stronger guy isn't one of many of those reasons.
It is part of the equation weight always is but 4 pound real weight is not the advantage you try and make outLast edited by RodBarker; 05-18-2009, 09:48 PM.Comment

He's never fought there to know.
It doesn't matter if JMM weighed 160 on fight night before, he still had to make 135 or less every time 24 hours before.Comment

I like of how they are talkin about throwin Juan Diaz on the undercard. But why not put him in with a guy who's gonna provide an exciting fight like Ali Funeka for example? Joan Guzman's style is not my cup of tea at all. And if this Matthew Hatton-Zab Judah fight is a done deal than every boxing fan on this website needs to file a damn protest and tell these promoters to stop milking us. I didn't order the Manny Pac-Ricky Hatton PPV because of the lame undercard.Comment

What are you saying man ,,, JMM dont make 160 he fights in the ring at 144 stick to the facts , the weighin is what is manipulated weight the actual fight and what they is the TRUE WEIGHT ,,, JMM is 144 on the night and Floyd is 147ish that is the TRUE WEIGHT at fight time ,,, this is not hard to put through your brain as its 1+1
Lets go the other direction and work backwards ,, the weight they gain after the weigh-in is what ? hint WATER
What was their weight before the drying out process ? hint the weight they trained to be before they dry out and the weight they go back to to fight
Elementary boys the weight they step into the ring at is their real weight without the drying out .Last edited by RodBarker; 05-18-2009, 09:57 PM.Comment

Oh yeah that's the weight. The weight they don't have to make because there aren't same day weigh ins.

Wtf is so hard to understand about one guy being proven at one division and another guy who's opponents never had the luxury to make 147 and fight at 149.
They all had to make 135 or less, not long before.
One day weight gain is not your natural weight, I agree. But everyone JMM had to fight had to make `35 or less, 130 at least 50 times.
He's in uncharted waters.Comment

Both fighters are good. I have a feeling that it will be a closely contested match with the winner by split-decision victory. JAT
