i'm surprised man. i know you're an am. fighter too, i figured you'd appreciate ward's skill level. his turns and ability to step off the line and make miranda pay was beautiful. his combinations were nice, his jab was nice, and his single pot shots were nice. i would have liked to see him go for the kill at the end, but damn, i thought ward looked great.
Miranda is shot, damaged goods....Ward is nothing special

I was really impressed with Ward to be honest. He kind of dissapointed me before but in this fight I thought he was excellent. Great footwark, great combinations, just overall an excellent boxer. Some people hate the holding, but I didn't think it was excessive compared to the amount shots he was landing.Comment

Right, yet about 80% of the ****birds on this forum were picking Shot Miranda to win by KO.
Never fails to make me laugh when such a thing happens, a fighter turning into a bum in just 12 rounds or less.Comment

Ward looked OK. I mean when he opened up he had Miranda frozen, but would then let up.
When he was in center ring, boxing Miranda's ears off, he looked great. The bicycle and holding though was not only unnecessary, but made Ward look bad.
Good fighter overall though and i suppose Miranda is not one to take unnecessary risks with.Comment

Miranda has always been a one dimensional fighter and Ward just showed that even more. I thought Ward looked pretty good, was only dissapointed that he could have done more, but he did what he had to do. Win the fight and move on to get better ones.Comment

It was a case of styles, Miranda just couldn't get inside to dig his punches in. Ward had taken away his only way of fighting, and he did look impressive. Miranda was a good test for him, and I think he will do fairly well at 168.Comment
