im just glad the colombian pantera didnt come out with a mex flag. props to ward he put on a boxing clinic and a great dominating performance vs a very strong guy that if it wasnt for the 10 point deductions beat abraham in his own back yard. ward has the capability to beat any of the 4 current 168lb champs. Bring on Bute 1st,he's the weakest link.

Miranda did his share of clinching as well. Though not as much because Ward was a moving target most of the time.
I agree, he did hold but not nearly as bad as Hatton does. Ward did more elbow nudging in close and hitting Miranda with short punches than holding. He did put Miranda in a couple headlocks though but he was worried about the heatbutting from Miranda.

Ward needs to work on his left for power, it seemed to land easily because Miranda did not expect him to switch stances but there was no power on them. He looked decent but could improve as anyone could.

Man please! Hatton thinks his holding was excessive! Boxing is hit and not get hit, not hold on for dear life the majority of every round

Oh, damn... I`m sick with such unstable fighters as Miranda...

At least there is some consolation for me... I have put a bet on the wrong fighter, but the winner gave public a completely boring fight...

Although i should agree that he did a great job, outclassing such dangerous fighter as Miranda...

That is the ******est thing i have ever heard. How is Bute the weakest link? Bute easily outboxes and beats Froch, he beats Balzay and Kessler hasn't fought any1 credible since he lost 2 Calzague. Bute destroyed Zuniga in 4 and it took Pavlik 9 rounds 2 do and he visited the canvas. Bute beat Sakio Bika the winner of the contender. Ohh yeah the 12 round with Andrade who cares Bute chooled him for 11 rounds prior 2 that...I hope the fight with Froch gets signed and after Froch receives a boxing lesson all u haters will finally realize how great BUte is.

I remember when Miranda burst onto the scene, he was being talked about as the next big thing by people here. How times have changed. The guy is all mouth and consistantly fails to win fights which matter.

What an awful fight. Ward only had to watch for right hands and he saw every single one coming. Too bad he cant punch worth **** or else he would have gotten Miranda out of there.
