We have no proof that he used it against anyone else but MOSLEY
so why are you saying "Cotto lost because he cheated!!!"
NO PROOF, TAKE THE LOSS LIKE A MAN!
If anyone is a quitter, It's Cotto.Comment

You want the proof phuking pendejo?
They removed two bricks from Tony wraps that had BLOOD on them which means he was using his little brick concoctions and saving them. If that is not proof enough, what does this say that he was using the bricks on his sparring partners? lol

I don't think Cotto is a quitter. Cotto's team checked Margarito's wraps.
They didn't find any impropriety.
Just like Clottey and Williams teams were required to check Margarito's wraps. And those fights went to decisions.
The answers you get back when you go down this road are pure speculation.
Cotto lost once, big deal. He's still elite. Margarito fought him the way he was supposed to, and sapped his will.
The way posters make it sound is, Margartio used plaster or tried to for two fights. All the others that went to decisions plaster wasn't involved ie when Cotto wasn't involved.Comment

It was proved in the Cotto fight because the wraps were similar to the original wrapping in the Mosley fight. It was in an article here on boxing scene. I don't know about the Paul Williams fight. Paul was handling himself well against Margo and smothering his agression with his size and speed so it never came into play.Comment

How come Cotto's team didn't find anything wrong? It was proved in the Cotto fight because the wraps were similar to the original wrapping in the Mosley fight. Yes, they removed his wraps before the MOSLEY fight. You want the proof phuking pendejo?

How come they didn't say anything right after/before the Cotto fight about him cheating? the wraps were fine for that fight.
there are may "if's and But's" in this situation but either way, a rematch is the only way this can be settled, but it won't change the fact that he lost.
PS: I can see Cotto stopping him in the rematch, easily.Comment

Anyone that thinks Margarito had not tried to cheat before is delusional. I was a massive Margarito fan after being caught trying to cheat (whether it was him or his trainer, or both), any previous victories should be called into question. I mean obviously this doesn't explain his incredible chin but I have no idea why he would cheat this once in a fight where Mosely was mere fodder to propel Margarito to superstar status.Comment
