easy question. Bhop, the man is a marvel. Bickering over close losses is pointless. No one has ever beaten him by more than 2 points(except the early loss). The guys is 43 and beaten plenty of the "up and coming type guys like lacy or kessler". Remember antwon echols?? Beat pfp types like trinidad and winky decisively, ruled mw for a record number of defenses, won the lhw lineal title by spanking tarver, and schooled pavlik, who had fought at smw a number of times. Joe ruled a division pretty impressively and eeked out a decision against Hopkins. Beating Hopkins is impressive but Hopkins career is far superior

1 fight at 160 doesn't make you a natural at the weight, it takes ages to settle into a weight class. That's like saying David Haye should be able to beat both the Klitschko bros because he's faced Monte Barrett at Heavyweight.

What about Pacquiao beating Hatton at 140? Mayweather beat Oscar for his title at 154 and Mosley beating Oscar at 147? All these guys came up in weight and looked fine.
