I'm going with skills, past prime Calzaghe clearly beat Hopkins and **** ****d him.

    Calzaghe >>> Hopkins
I also wouldn't use the phrase "skills vs resume". In order to beat the varied and talented styles that Hopkins has,you would need severe skills. He has proven doubters wrong SO many times against stiffer competition, whereas Calzaghe has beaten Past prime fighters,Manfreddos, or hype jobs that weren't world class. The best fight I give to Joe is Mikkel Kessler...and I'm not sure how Mikkel goes against someone like Hopkins.
I can at least give respect to Hopkins for taking up Kelly Pavlik,-while Joe's camp was scared ****less at the time.Keep in mind, before Joe took up the Jones fight,he was heaping praise on how good he thought Kelly Pavlik was,and once Kelly expressed interest in a Calzaghe fight, Joe was making LOTS of excuses (not enough demand, not enough money, not enough skills, etc etc). Not saying Kelly would win,but Calzaghe never took enough chances to be an ATG as opposed to Hopkins.

hopkins has a whos who resume but his wins are always over fighters that had no buisness at that weight - winky, DLH, tito.

the kelly fight was one that was tailor made for hopkins, kelly was slow and plodding at these higher weights and hopkins noticed it, iv always said that pavlik was made to order for hopkins.

the two genuine wins that i think you have to give hopkins credit for are his wins over tarver and johnson.

btw calzaghe never wanted the manfredo fight but thats the sort of **** that euros have to do to earn recognition. you make it out that calzaghe never tried to get the big fights with tarver, johnsin, hopkins RJ, taylor or wright

        hopkins >>>> calzaghe

just because calzaghe beat an old hopkins dosent mean he is higher up on ATG list, look at the fighters hopkins has faced and defeated and then look at calzaghes. bhops opponents over the years has been tougher.
a prime bhop beats a prime joe i.m.o

Uh he didn't. Or he would have done it. How come Hatton was able to get his big fights when he wanted? Oh gee, could it be guts and willingness to face the best?

            As for the euro comment:

                  Stunning logic.

Let's employ the logic of this genius Joe fan above:

                  Tevor Berbick greater than Ali.

                  see what I did there?
