Morales still moved up to 135 because it was better for him and he faced Raheem who he lost to in embarrassing fashion. I remember watching that fight and thinking: Is Raheem that good or is Morales that Old/Bad at this point. It just didn't look like the same Morales from years ago. And then Morales had to go back down in weight.

Diaz...well that just shows you the greatness of Diaz I guess.

Maybe Pac should have fought Raheem instead of Morales II.

in the first barrera fight barrera was pretty close to if not in his prime, he was p4p ranked then i think and was a top fighter who was on a win streak

morales in the 1st fight was moderately past his best but still good, morales in the second fight was pretty far past his best and the version of morales in the 3rd fight was just a walkign corpse, erik didnt have it anymore, mentally or physically, physically he was battered and scarred and mentally he was just weary, morales in his prime would never have jsut sat down and quit like he did in the 3rd fight

barerra in the 2nd fight was pretty far past his best also

oscar was pretty far past his best, bordering on shot but the issues he had with this weight exacerbated his problems

Look, if it wasn't Manny to upset Barrera, it more then likely would have been Guzman or Soto...

Only difference is that Humberto Soto and Juan Guzman wouldn't have gotten off as easy as Paq did. They would probably have to fight some seriously hitters. Paq just coasted by the lamest fighters they could pitch him up against...**** is a sham lol..
barrera strung up 6 straight wins over the likes of EM and juarez after the 1st pac fight dumbass. and in a lot of ppls eyes, he won against JMM if the ****** ref counted the KD. that was a 3pt swing.

Cuz some cats don't like Pac. I do agree wit EM bein gone in the 3rd fight, but Pac gets full cred for the other 3 wins.

Barrera was p4p when Pac first beat him, lets remember that
He wasnt as good as he was when Pac first beat him in the 2nd fight, but he gave JMM a close ass fight prior to that
Morales was not shot in the first 2 fights,Pac didnt beat a shot Morales in the 2nd,but in the 3rd,i think it had alot to do with weight more then Morales being completely shot

Pac beat Barrera and Morales in there prime, but was past them in the race when they had the rematch ( Barrera II,Morales III )
