    All hail to PAC.

Guys, I just watched Floyd - Hatton and from the get-go, Floyd was landing some clean f**kin' hooks and rights on Flattened and took him 10 rounds to work the boy over. I mean, those hooks and straights were every bit as accurate as PAC's.

    Hotd*mn, PAC ain't human!

Hatton was never the same after Mayweather. It took a great fighter to ruin a OK fighter.

this is untrue. Hatton had newfound confidence because of Mayweather Sr. and the 2 win streak....Hatton was not done in any means..he was out of shape for Lazcano that was obvious. If anything Hatton was better against Pac. Pac is just a much more reflexive fighter, Floyd sticks to a plan

i agree, after the mayweather fight hatton's punch resistance has been definately weakened. Maybe thats a mental thing as it was the 1st time not only he had been beat, but KO'd. I mean he took some absolute doozys from floyd and continued, but 1 from manny( a smaller fighter) and he went down.

even in his comeback fight after mayweather it was clear it wasnt the same ricky hatton. He relied on his chin as his main defence and without it he will get stopped off punchers. fact.

Guess what, I just watched JMM/PAC from the get go. Pac looks like a damn amateur against skilled boxers

Some may argue Pacquiao got the watered down version of Hatton.

However...I've been watching this sport for a long time. And I've had discussions with others that have been observers of this sport for 20 or 30 years and I think that this fight is more evenly matched than many believe.

Mayweather just doesn't throw enough punches nowadays and I truly think he'll have trouble dealing with Pacquiaos work rate, speed and awkwardness.

You don't beat this version of Pacquiao without a high work rate, steel chin or ugly clutching defense (one or two punches and clutch).

Marquez has had some success but took chances in order to land and got knocked down 4 times. Mayweather isn't that type of guy. He will most likely employ the latter (one or two punches and clutch).

Judah gave him problems in their fight but couldn't keep up the pressure and faded midway through the fight. Pacquaio won't have that problem.

Eventually Mayweather will be forced to stand and fight and we all know what happens when Pacquiao goes toe to toe with guys.

I like Pacquaio to win this fight by KO or TKO if it ends up getting made.
